I heard someone say the back side is called Moss stitch. Not sure what exactly that means for both sides are really pretty
@TreasureGoddess17 күн бұрын
It’s very similar to moss stitch! Basically the “wrong side” has a lovely pebbled texture and is GORGEOUS! Perfect for things like scarves or cowls where you see both sides of the project.

What about increasing in the linen stitch? No one seems to show that. Can you do a video tutorial in how to increase and decrease the linen stitch? linen
@TreasureGoddess2 ай бұрын
I'd say the best plan would be to do two increases in a row, M1 or M1L and M1R would be least obvious. You would need to do 2 increases together to keep the pattern still working. I'll see if I can create a video soon that would show how this works. thanks for the idea!

@TreasureGoddess Thanks after 2 or 3 practice swatches, I did finally figure it out!! I only Inc on a knit row....very first stitch I did a KFB, then next stich is a slip, then cont with regular 2 step pattern...until very last 2 stitches... which should be a knit one, then slip one with yarn in front. So on the knit stitch I do a KFB, and slip the last stitch. It works!

How to knit a sweater with this stitch ?
@TreasureGoddess5 жыл бұрын
Siddhi Shinde you would need to swatch and see what the stitch count is per inch or per cm. Then you could substitute that for a stockinette pattern written for knitting in the round.

How do you make super coils
@TreasureGoddess6 жыл бұрын
You spin a thick & thin singles yarn and ply it onto a strong 40 weight thread or lace yarn and squish them all along and secure very well at both ends. There’s lots of videos that show the techniques. I’ll hopefully be adding videos about that in 2019
@jwatley3136 жыл бұрын

Thanks! I just knit a top using some very crazy coil hand-spun yarn. As the neck trim, I wrapped a few remaining yards, fastened them with turquoise art wire in the back, and then used the wire to tack it down periodically to the neckline. You can see my project on Ravelry, I'm StoneBunny. I have your Etsy Shop as one of my favs. I did think that this video would give me ideas on how to knit with the super coils, but I guess that's for another day. I love your yarn.
