I made a Fanmade Pixar film called Airplane, it was released on November 15, 2002 and it got 3 sequels which are Airplane 2 (November 9, 2005) Airplane 3 (June 20, 2014) And Airplane 4: One Last Flight (January 18, 2019). 7 spin offs which are Vacation (March 25, 2005) Daycare (December 14, 2007) Castle (November 21, 2009) Daycare 2 (November 17, 2011) Cruise (November 28, 2016) Starblox (April 12, 2019) And Pet Story (June 19, 2020). It also got a television series called Airplane Problem (March 1, 2024)

Aside from the aspect ratio how would you compare the picture quality/coloring the Netflix version?

@@NicholasCarter-d6s Identical, they came from the same remaster one is just cropped. The 4K discs themselves look great.

@stitch2002 is it as grainy? I know The Netflix compression algorithm makes it look terrible at times depending on the wifi. Also did it include a digital version as well? I couldn’t find anything about it online.

@NicholasCarter-d6s Netflix version looks terrible based on the cropping alone, and no there's no digital copy. That doesn't matter anyway as you can just rip the files yourself.

Im kinda mad that each disc only has 6-8 episodes on them. Thats the one thing i hated about the dvd had like 4-5 episodes lol my friends blu ray has like 12-13 episodes on each disc and i love that

They are over 10gb per episode. So you would have preferred them to lower the image quality and compress the episodes more? Wow! Why do you even care about buying this in 4K if you don't care about the image quality? The resolution only defines the size/boundaries of the frame, the file size (bitrate) determines how much detail is actually inside that frame.

On the 4K Blu-ray, they were easily able to also add European Spanish and Italian audio too Not just those, but they were also able to add Latin American Spanish as one of the languages in this

Funnily enough the reason why I made this video is because Fox lost rights to the film and MGM owns it now which results in plastering.

What’s worse is that you can’t even turn off the sing along subtitles in the Blu-ray on this set as it’s baked onto the print used

And none of the discs on this even have the 2000 Latin Spanish redub, especially the Blu-ray They didn’t need to make a new disc for the Blu-ray when they could have used the same printing from the 2009 release

while the blu ray disc is bad the good thing here is that the main 4K disc is region free however probably because it's new this copy might be more harder to get for non US or canada citizens but there are a few copies on ebay I'm getting one myself a UK citizen woo hoo no need for warner ruining the gag at the beginning

@@carloso5910official The Blu Ray disc is region locked A disc on the 4K Blu Ray but all previous Blu Rays of the film like the ones from 2009 and 2017 are Region free

I decided to investigate more about these peculiar DVD's and found out there's also Cars one and copies of it can be found on eBay, but seeing those special Cars DVD's make me sad, as they were meant to promote the film to the Academy Awards and we all know what happened when Cars got nominated... No seriously, Happy Feet (the film that beat Cars) is extremely bad imo.

Great collection! Monsters Inc is my favorite Pixar movie too. (As well as my favorite movie of all time) I was born five months before the film came out. (June 4th)
