They just tuned up the snares so that was a process but it could be the audio because it was so loud in the edit. Being too close to them like I was you have to be really optimizing the audio in pre and post. But they are really tight Paul is a master in this he has it down to the sticks and drums to the technique thanks for commenting . Who did you march with ? 😀

@@RobertVee Are you referring to the same DCI CEO that attended Bluecoats preseason performance and Crossmen family day this season, which were all held on different days? Must be biased towards them too. I am just waiting to see if the IRS shows up at a DCI event and confiscates those shiny red drums SCV has since the adults in the room at SCV can't conduct business properly.

@@RobertVee Fair enough. In case there was people thinking that BD is winning because the CEO shows up at their events, I just wanted to ensure they knew the DCI CEO shows up at multiple corps events each season. It's not a biased BD thing.

The bottom line is people are comparing lines to easy books verse hard books and clean early on but here is my take just give me hard core drum corp if quarter notes are clean and loud you got my attention and respect. Yes. And also, SCV’s book this year is really hard, and it’s a lot of notes. Pretty cowardly to give other lines credit for a harder book just because it’s dirtier. Maybe SCV is just in their own league 🤷♂️

@MBRKOMBAT you will at age 15 I played cymbals and I was taking music in school playing drums, I joined Drum Corps and was promoted from Cymbals To Marching Timpani while playing all percussion. My Drum instructor gave me 2 weeks to improve in my new position or I would be cut. So I bought a drum set and Took drum lessons and I practiced all day long and I was able to play 32nd single-stroke rolls like a storm coming in!! Needless to say I made the drumline and went on to play in world-class Drum corps and went on 3 tours across the USA and Canada! It changed my life. Keep on keeping on ..YOU WILL MAKE IT! 😀

The sound gets louder and louder each time the only time I witnessed such a loud drum line was in 1976 in Philadelphia you could hear this line for blocks away and that was the Cavaliers 🤩 Wow and high chops to boot as time progresses the blue Devils will be cleaner and louder 😀 stay tuned for more

They have the highest scores as of today 76 the east is 73 but time will tell this is still early season but as they play every day until finals it could be a breakout score for any corp but by the looks of it and experience Blue Devils will be the 22nd time champs 😀
