!!!! I got the same error message back !!!! Now it seems that water leakage from the roof, and into the passenger compartment, may be to blame for water getting down to the hybrid battery pack! Will come back with my own video!!! The wrong information obviously comes when you have low voltage on the 12v battery. I was out driving today, and got the same wrong info. New battery etc., but I had forgotten to turn off the interior lights after I made a video the day before. By then the small battery had been drained a lot again. I wish they had bigger batteries in those cars for us who drive here in cold Norway!

What is the configuration of the new battery you installed after the hybrid or VSC light appeared on your main panel? AGM or Flooded? CCA? Capacity in Ah? Group size? I have exactly the same Lexus model and my Lexus has been showing the same lights for the last few days. However, I checked the battery and the alternator, and those are working fine.

Good day! I had to have a battery quickly and easily, so I chose what I could get as soon as the stores opened. It was also affordable :) Don't dare think about what a battery would cost at Lexus. Don't dare think about what people have paid to get towed to a workshop, then troubleshooting and ended up with a new battery at exorbitant prices. Wow, how some people get ripped off. Bought a 45 A, like the original in the car. It was exactly the same physical size, so it was very easy to replace. Biltema is a Swedish chain we have here in Norway, with ok batteries at reasonable prices. See info at the link here: www.biltema.no/bil---mc/bilbatterier/bilbatterier/smf-batterier/startbatteri-12-v-45-ah-2000029827?reko=VH21660 Greetings Pål (Paul)

Does anyone understand how the dual battery is set up, in the 3.0D4D? Mine in UK came with two batteries as standard. For example, where are all the cables? Say, starting with the power lead coming out of the alternator, where does it first go to, etc, etc? I want to be able to identify all the failure points in the cabling/braided straps, before ever concluding bad battery or alternator!

Hi. Cars intended for colder areas were mostly set up with bobble batteries, to have good power for cold starts in the winter. Some people use this for a lot of extra equipment, such as lights and camping equipment. The batteries are connected in series, so you have a 12v system. My old HJ60 also has 2 batteries. But there they are connected according to weather conditions, so the car is set up as a 24v system. It seems that most cars with 2 batteries have battery no. 2, as almost an extra battery, with few separate connections. But there may be several possible solutions. I have to look at my car, since I don't remember if it is anything other than just a parallel connection to battery no. 1. Regards Pål (Paul)

Dear friend. I have precisely same problem. After fixing turbo charger, foults P2588 and P2563 occured. It seems to me that the problem is in shabby spareparts made in chine. The dimensions of the new spareparts are slightly different, still enough to cause problems with the driver which can not work correctly. So the car board systems indicate electronic foults. But the real trouble lies in mechanic parts. What do you think of it?

@bildillamagasin3 ай бұрын
Hello. Not impossible that it can affect the engine once. Was lost in something similar on a Toyota Camry. On most "modern" cars, there is a sensor for how much air comes in through the filter, and the temperature of the air. This information is then used again to optimize the ignition and the amount of fuel to be injected. If the filter box is damaged in such a way that air enters in the "wrong" way, then this can affect the measurements from the sensors. And it may also have contributed to dirtying the sensors.
