One of the best videos I've found for these exercises. I did my first set yesterday and made it about half way through before I got light headed. I was not prepared. Today I made it though the whole thing. I'll be back tomorrow to do it again. Thanks so much for having such an easy to follow video without all the talking and interruptions and distracting music.

Hi Master Judy, do you consider Qigong is a form of meditation? and apart from baduanjin, do you practice or need a kind of meditation? which i try to understand that with baduanjin can anyone also improve mental states as well as body?

Qigong is to be practiced with awareness, body, and breath. Before starting, you should centre yourself and set your intentions for the day's practice. There are 3 types of Qigong, medical, medicine, and combat. However, all are meditive with correct technique and intention. Hope this helps. ❤

Qigong is a branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine. There is quite a lot of history, principles and philosophy associated with it. You are encouraged to read more. We are only doing Baduanjin here. It is the simplest of all dynamic Qigong exercises.
