Yes, there are a lot of areas in Colorado that the trees have been killed by beetles. Unfortunately it's just a big fire waiting to happen since the forest service won't clear out all the dead timber.

This is an old obstacle on Hells Revenge that closed many years ago. It got reopened this year about a month before EJS. I found it to be easier than both the Escalator and Hells Gate with my particular Jeep. Mileage may vary depending on wheelbase/width. I thought it was fun but nothing I would consider very challenging. This obstacle is the one of the exits to Hells Revenge. It is rumored that they reopened it because they want to close Tip Over Challenge. Which kinda make sense because they have been developing the ground where you drive out when you exit by way of Tip Over Challlenge. Thanks for watching.
