Probably used Dometic that year because Coleman was hard to get

Ours did the same exact thing. We cut a noodle to fit around the cabinet handle and that solved the issue if it does come unlatched.

Was it easy sleeping there with the trains? I've been to that campsite like 10 times and I handled it fine

They are saying 400 truck campers. Having demonstrations, speakers, rallies, etc. Google 2023 Truck Camper Rally Quartzsite for more info. They say it is full, but we just put our name on the waiting list and they contacted us. Hope to see you there, and thanks for watching my video!

I have the same AC unit on my 2021 Host Camper.. i like to call it Demonic instead of Dometic because it startles me every time it starts and annoys the heck out of me with the noise it produces. The unit barely kept up in Texas heat and could never get it below 83 degrees when it got above mid 90's. Trying to watch a movie is impossible... phone call, forget it. That is why after watching 'The Joslyn Journey' youtube video on how to swap the same Demonic A/C for a Houghton 3400 A/C, i've decided to do the same... hopefully next month.

Noticed right away fellow New Hampshire plate. Thanks for the video. I am hoping to go full-time camping at some point down the road now that I'm starting a fully remote position. The lances are definitely up there with possibilities for me.

We have the Coleman AC on the 2022 Lance 1172. Camped at Nickerson Beach NY on one of the heatwave day temp 98 really humid. Inside the 1172 was comfortably cool with the Coleman AC. I turned down the setting at Low Cool Auto after a while because it gets a little chilly. My only complaint is the excessive AC noise especially on High cooling setting. Watching TV or listening to radio can be a problem. By the way, I bought the EZ Lift adjustable jack stand from Amazon $76 the same one you have in the video. Works well. Thanks for sharing. Safe travels.

I have a 2018 1172 on a 2018 F350 DRW. Here’s a tip I use in hot weather. I close off the bedroom sliding door and cool the camper. When the camper is cool I began to open the sliding door a couple inches every half hour or so. I don’t know who makes my AC unit but I can get a 30 to 35 degree difference between outside and inside air temperature. I am very happy with my 1172 and the AC. BTW. I can also run my AC with my Honda 2000 generator. It’s much quieter than the 2500 Onan. I gave you the tip on the inside motion detectors in your truck without using tape. How’s that working out?

How stable and safe do you feel using your camper OFF of the truck like you have it in this video? Our intention is to get a camper as well so that we can unload it and camp in it and still have the truck to go out and explore. Do you recommend this and does of feel stable and safe like this?

Solar Tip You can steplessly dim down a bulge and all other hungry electricity consumers with a 5000W dimmer (7, EUR). I run 5 dimmers in parallel on an 850W inverter. Kettle 2.2KW at 150W runs 12 hours a day, so the water is always hot. The room is also nicely heated. 2.5KW washing machine runs in parallel with dimmed to 200...400W. Iron, dishwasher, oven, electric heater, coffee machine, all internal heating are throttled with me. Videos on my channel kzbin.info/www/bejne/m3SVoJ-YeKebnpI The inverter stays cool, quiet and the MOSFETs remain intact because no extreme current peaks arrive at the inverter. Now every Mini PV Inverter is enough to sell large devices...

We currently have a 2008 Lance 992 and we traded it and ordered a 2022 Lance 1172 last November. Dealer says it should be ready by early July. The 2022 models look amazing with the new graphics. Glad to see you’ve had no problems with yours.

Question: for long stays in a campground, would the camper be safer more stable with 3-4 pressure treated 4x4’s supporting the camper totally on the ground?

Hey ol boy. I’ve been watching your channel for a while. I have the same truck and 1172 as you and I have a dog as well. We could be brothers. Here’s your tip of the day. When you shut your truck off look where your instrument cluster is. You are given an option to select all sensors or perimeter sensing. Toggle down on your steering wheel and select perimeter sensing. It disables the inside motion detectors your dog and everyone around you will thank you. I give you an A for ingenuity though. Now. Let’s talk about you taking that beautiful beast off grid and away from the RV parks and do some boon docking. That’s where that baby shines my friend. Happy Trails
