Now you know why loggers wear hard hats, too keep the rain from beating their brains out.

Nice, might want to always have stable ground before casting, trust me, I know from experience, falling in while reeling in a coho makes for a great story but hurts like heck and the iPhone ended up in the bottom of the sandy river. Landed it though. 😅 keep up the good work.

Thanks so much for the detailed video! QQ, from the comments I see a lot of people talking about the fuel pump replacement, is this something that needs to be done relatively often?
@LifeOutdoors3 күн бұрын
Appreciate you washing! The fuel pump replacement was a one time recall! They had an issue with some of the stock ones so they modified it and it shouldn’t need replacement for a long time now.

@LifeOutdoors4 күн бұрын
To be honest I don’t know much about that area but the snake river is awesome and a dry fly fishing paradise. Looks like you have the south fork of the Boise not too far away which would also be a great dry fly option. Wish I could help more!

Yeah I've never fished this before but ime sure tenkara will do well here , so your recommendations would be dry fly?
@LifeOutdoors3 күн бұрын
no doubt it would do well! Time of the year will play a big part but if you're in cutthroat water then a dry fly almost always works. warmer weather always equals better dry fly fishing though.

It's easy to tell who's a tourist in North Idaho. Except if they are from North California, Northern Carolina, or Northern Dakota for some reason. Those guys are hard to pick out.

Had to delete and re-comment that one? Haha obviously we are tourists there, just trying to enjoy one of the many beautiful states in this country! Looks like a quality outing! Have you ever tried throwing streamers or swinging for those Erie steelhead before? Thinking about heading down there in March and wondering how well those fish might chase an intruder.
@LifeOutdoorsАй бұрын
I've fished an intruder for maybe 2 hours total and caught one fish but I think if you put a whole day into it and water conditions were right it would be just as effective as the good old 2 egg rig! Let me know how you do if you try it.
@averagejoefishing7833Ай бұрын
@@LifeOutdoors Awesome man that's good to know. Two hours and one fish is about as good a ratio as you can expect swinging flies! I'll let you know how I do if I get the chance to try it out
