Numpad Notation. It uses the keypad (usually on the far right of the keyboard) to show what direction to input on your controller. 7 8 9 4 5 6 1 2 3 EX) 5M is standing or neutral Medium attack while 2H is a crouching Heavy attack. 9 is a forward jump while 1 and 4 are a crouching block respectively. Most notation displays in combos typically assume you're facing right. (Note that this doesn't work in other fighting games like Tekken, Super Smash Bros. or Mortal Kombat for their own reasons) Mr. Frankentank did a smart by using the ^ (exponent symbol) to seperate the special buttons while still using numbers. EX) 2S^1 or 2S¹ is crouching Special 1, while 5S^2 or 5S² is crouching Special 2. They also used the () brackets to signify a follow up or charge (holding) input, because Braum can charge his 5S² input.

Hey thanks for the video man, quick question though: For the 2:13 combo, I seem to be having some issues getting the 5M to land after the poro, they always seem to be able to air tech as soon as the poro lands. Should I be trying to delay the poro or something?

For a more damaging corner combo you can do 2M, 5M, 5H, 6H, 6H charged S2, 2M, 2H, 6H super jump S2, 2H, 6H S2, S2. after which you can get an assist or a super. Alone that combo does 517 damage, with a buffed shield the charged s2 can be replaced with charged poro toss and it only loses a bit of damage due to the ending getting buffed at 508 damage.

Compared to most modern fighters , it's actually decently hard but it's mostly just people getting used to more buttons to replace motion inputs. These combos aren't exactly super advanced execution wise of course but the main difficulty in this game comes from optimizing combos and pressure with your assist and it get be a bit mind boggling at times. As we get used to it it will be second nature tho

Fighting game difficulty is rarely in combos, even just frame loops or 1 frame links get comfortable with lab time, neutral and defense in tag games is extremely hard usually
