I know that you are not a journalist, BUT.... when providing updates and news to a big community and especially when it comes to hot and controversial things about MSFS 2024, i would wish that the information provided by the presentators, be accurately presented to your community. I have now listened twice to you talking about the upgrade fee, giving and fully leaning into the angsty and fearing outcry about all the product migration stuff. The presentator clearly stated how it's going to work. "you (the developer) can also choose to offer an upgrade from the 20 to the 24 version, AS FREE OR PAID". Sorry for all the unnecessary venting, but i felt like it and now i feel better lol. Not a regular, but sometimes enjoy your content. :)

I still think its relevant. Just because MS will offer devs to post "free" upgrades, it doesnt mean that all of them will. This being the case - will be costly for a lot of folks if they have to pay to update their addons

@@twotonemurphy alright, but that is an entirely different topic. At this point, the marketplace is no different than other addons store and the way forward is up to the developers, with obvious input from the community. But that’s not how it’s communicated, the discussion isnt being had about if it’s fair for a dev to charge, what a dev might have to say etc. , instead it’s about the marketplace and just untrue speculation and „misreporting“. Rereading it and one thought about the marketplace being no different than other stores. While they do lead the charge in creating a framework for how the transition and upgrading of addons will work and look like, I still think the focus should be on the developers and how they view the question.

@@trapy3550 I have covered that in detail in the past - and the feedback from most has been that they intend to offer a free update. The same however is not shared by other developers - and until devs actually know how long it will take and whats required in terms of hours - then yes, it is speculation - but until the sim is actually released - I guess all we have is speculation

Thanks for the coverage guys! Just to clarify, none of our devs worked for CS in the past. One of our guys used to work for a MAJOR dev but it wasn't CS. Nothing against CS but just wanted to clear that up :) Looking forward to next year's Expo already!

Will there be more than one price version? Will there be waterfalls? How many planes will be included in the base sim? Can we get an airboat for the Colorado River, one with a Hemi? A JetBoat for New Zealand? With 20 screaming passengers? This is Geography, right? If there is only one price version, can we get a complete list of all the planes that come with the Sim? Will the bridges be fixed? Will there be monthly World updates, And monthly Sim updates? Will private piers for homes on lakeside and riversides be 3d, or still 1d images on the surface of the water?

I do hope they address the poor multiplayer setup. It seemed to be given a wide berth. Something rock solid like on dcs world multiplayer. The Reno racing game was not what we thought we were going to get due to the multiplayer too. Still we can live in hope 😊

Most important question and no one even addressed or asked it. What about flight physics? Ground effects etc. all this stuff mentioned is great but MSFS comes second to Xplane in how the aircraft’s fly.

Fully agree, it was all about new visuals like trees, grass, boats, water, etc etc but nothing about flying itself. To me the sim is becoming more and more all besides a flightsimulator.

I switched from Console to pc for the sole reason of experiencing better flight modeling, now MSFS is on a Console. Go figure. Cheers!!

They did talk about flight physics. Here's one example, they mentioned wake turbulence is in and lasts up to 6 minutes. Did you miss that?

I'm really suprised that MS hasn't partnered with Navigraph and some of the other big players. They're creating their own flight planner which is probably great for people crying about Navigraph subscriptions but why re-invent the wheel? Have you guys heard any news on how MS is handling ATC in MS2024?

Might be a case of MS not getting the same deals for data as a smaller team such as Navigraph. I would be surprised if MS was allowed to use the data by just getting it through Navigraph without some other deal.

I too have a love hate relationship with this plane. It has never been right at low speed, esp approach. getting it trimmed for an approach speed is almost impossible, on approach ot gets really uncoordinated when it should not. at low power low speed you get a hellish left yaw. SMS went overboard with the left turn tendency and never fixed it. outside of that it looks good, feels good for the most prt minus what I mentioned

This makes me sad. I went to school at bombardier to work on this aircraft and was excited to see it in the marketplace. Now, sadly, I won't be buying it. I just hope someone makes a Global 6000, and some gulfstreams

An impressive flight, it was fun to watch. A quick question: at 2 hours 16 you fly over the Normandy area and you can see flag spotlights and hear flags. How did you integrate it into FS2020? Is there a scenery of it? 👍👍👍👍

A pitiful product. Those who monitor the marketplace should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this product to be available at this price on the platform. Sim Federation seems to simply be cobbling together their aircraft from other than original sources. Bad business practice. Glad I watched several reviews before I decided not to purchased both of these aircraft.
