Jenn, we love your videos! After watching dozens, we've purchased 3 DVC contracts; Riviera 200 pts., Beach Club 150 pts., and AK 100 pts. My question is; can we combine points from two or more contracts for a room? Meaning, can we use A & B to rent C? Thanks for the helpful advice.

They can't exceed a weight of 115 lbs. Even one pound over will get you cut during the application cycle. The costume they wear is 70+lbs.

Great video, thanks for posting! One area of clarification. In the opening description (0.15) it says "1 queen size sleeper sofa". This has been replaced, thankfully, by the murphy/pull down bed.

Do you find that a lot of Americans don’t treat these places very well? For example, how many people take off their shoes at the entrance or pay attention to their suitcases in order to not damage walls or cupboards?

This is the best channel for researching dvc. Watching your videos motivated us to buy a BWV contract recently. Hope to buy direct riviera contract eventually. Thank you for your time in making these videos!

I bought direct in 2017 and wanted Beach club but there was no availability. I declined any other resort and within a week Disney found a Beach Club contract for me. I didn’t even know about resale market at that time.

Is this at Toontown Disneyland, or Disney world?

Your kids are pretty lucky. I literally tried to do at least breakfast and dinner even when I'm in the studio.. it's easy to order Walmart plus and get Frozen entrees and ready-made salads. I have been as so bold as to get an electric skillet (stealth )pan and cook a whole meal. But that's what I've had like 10 days Days.

My only rule is when ever there is a monorail stopped above GET UNDER IT AND FILM IT YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE😂😂😂😂😂

If I get a resale 50 pt contract to OKW, and another 50 pt contract at Poly… can I use 100 pts to book 11+ months at OKW or Poly?

What do you think will happen in 2042 when points start to expire?

Can I buy direct and choose my home resort? For example, buy direct from Disney points for Boardwalk.

I knew going in that I wanted 650 points but couldn’t afford that many points out the gate and I didn’t want to buy 1 contract with that many points. I told the agent that going in, then when I emailed him to purchase a second contract he was like “You have add on itis.” It’s not add on itis if it was always your plan to buy that many points. Also random but 1 perk of paying your dues all at once is that if you do, you can use Disney Gift Cards which you can save a little money on if you buy them from Sam’s, BJ, or Costco.

The DVC tower to the left of the Polynesian Resort completely clashes with the Polynesian Resort design and theming.

If it was its own, we would only be superseded at 11-7 months with tower owners. Now all existing Poly owners will have that advantage. If it was its own, presumably some resale owners would have been blocked out. As a direct owner (not at Poly), those two things would have been better for me. I see why they did it, you just asked for the opposing view point.

i acually wanted to cry the first time I saw it, I was so upset that we lost harmonious for this.

I am so happy to have additional room types made available as part of my Poly Home resort. For all the reasons stated in these comments this is good news. My only regret is that DVC chose not to offer a 3 bedroom villa at the Island Tower. I was going to buy more points to stay at a grand villa, but I am reconsidering unless those new penthouse 2 bedroom villas are really fabulous.

As a resale Poly member, I’m happy to hear the new tower is joining the existing association. I’m wondering if going forward the resort will be overall harder to book (I’m looking at you GFV in early December - own there as well) and the increased traffic on the monorail. Time will tell! Would love an updated "which DVC resort to buy for 2024" video, similar to the one you did last year - thinking of adding on to my existing VGF contract, not sure which resort I should buy into this year (most likely will go resale). Would love your thoughts!

While I don’t own at Poly, this is exciting news for existing Poly owners and all DVC owners! Good job DVC with not making this a separate association with resale restrictions.
