Cbaracter creation is to be done before starting in th3 Main menu ofnthe game 24:09 clearing a poi bevor starting the quest lets ya double up on resources especialy the big stash at the end.

that was better than me when I did that poi my 1st time. but I think mine was infested clear. like 10 zeds in final area, and 4 or 5 feral. hard to do with just a bow. lol. and in personal run, my luck with stumps for honey is like 1:15 or so. at least until u get that wasteland treasure mag that let's u get honey from any tree. then u get more honey than u ever need. and that just for farming wood for horde base stuff. as fo4 the dismantling of stuff, I usually just go farming for it once I need it. unless it is something I know I will need alot of in the future. but usually get what I n3ed fairly quickly, except engines. lol

that base was intense!! great job getting it done. also, pay attention to what gear u wearing based on the quest and bonuses of each armor. use the one that best suits the quest u doing. some are good for certain quests and but not good for others. I mean, u don't have too, it's ur playthrough. actually, forget what i said. u do u boo. lol. still holding my breath with u on this stuff.

Screamers are triggered by activity and heat. Any machines and forges will generate heat, as well as shooting guns, breaking blocks and opening cabinets. Explosions generate a lot of heat too. Once the heat/activity threshold is crossed there is a possibility of spawning screamers. After a screamer hoard there is a cooldown period before another screamer hoard is possible...

Lee beat me to the punch and gave some good info. but had a feeling on the shooting with screamers. did a t3 or t4 quest and once I finished, I had 6 screamers and they all called 2 or 3 times. as for meat, I fins alot of deer at night as for the crafting part, u can change the tier of what u making by clicking the arrows next to the picture of what u crafting. and the lower the tier, cheaper to craft. but also not as good. on a side note, this was the first time I watched a vid on my headset for sound. something seemed different in ur voice. not sure if it is the headset or something else. hope u staying healthy. can't wait for next one bro!!

Screamers also are drawn to gunfire, in addition to the heat map.. Using automatic weapons creates a higher chance of calling them in, esp. if they are not silenced. (They often come in pairs now, instead of just one at a time)... The animals come out around dusk, and are more active at night. Morning is also a good time to find them.

springs u can get from cars and mattresses. and of course random loot. but guess u know that now. lol as for the beer, in my non brawler playthroughs, I sell the beer. good way for extra dukes.

Once you have a couple of dew collectors up, buy sugar butts and sell stacks of polymer and brass. Points in salvage let you make a better wrench faster, and increases Wasteland Treasures book drops. Healing factor sounds nice, but turns you into a food disposal. I suggest first 4 points in cardio, iron gut, pain tolerance, and master chef. Point 5 into salvage or miner 69, point 6 into the other. after than no wrong answer.

I have to say that I am kinda glad that I am not the only one that has issues with clicking on stuff. happens all the time. especially when I am getting on bike or mini. it's almost like the hit b9x for stuff got shrunk or the grass hit box got increased. anyways, nice go with base. gotta remember more pipes for next go. since u will be off of them next horde night. just remember the repair kits.

so like I said, DO the side quests. just don't HAVE to record them. off camera bs. kinda like 7d and pz. lots of work to do off camera. stuff that doesn't push the story but still important to do.

The medical boxes will give acid, and the way it works is this. Loot the box, but leave at least one item in the box. Then, destroy the box -(you can still get the item in the box from the bag that drops). The acid will show up when the box is destroyed. No idea on the chance of it showing up...

so what I have seen, the tarp let's the dew collector get up to 6 waters per day and the gather mod, let's it collect faster. I assume the filter gives reg water. not had the dukes to test it yet. but in my personal run, I have 3 dew collectors and can get 12/day of murky water. probably faster, but sitting on alot of water currently and not checking very often. lol. been finding 5-15 every POI I have done. ik u will find a good spot for HB and it will be amazing!! great episode bro!! can't wait for next one!!

My top 3 things for a new playthrough; day 1 or 2 pot/ grill/dew collector; day 3 forge and farm plots. You wouldn't believe how much money you can save if you get farm plots down immediately! Mushroom mining was one of my first quests, back in A-21. As I recall, I broke my leg, and was mobbed by zombies. It taught me to be more careful where I go and where I back up into.

If you plan on using fist and you not going to have a lot of skill points to use. First rule of close up combat is healing factor and stamina use with the use of heavy armor. Use will need the nomad armor full set lv 6 gives you 90 percent improvement on food and water loss when healing. Then you for perks you need go full healing factor, full iron gut perk, full rule 1 cardio perk, full pain tolerance perk, lv 3 physician perk. Costs 47 points total but you get 115 percent food and water loss prevention making healing factor free and you heal fast and gain xp boost from it. And covers the uses you get with heavy armor from the set speed boost, inventory space, and dealing with rad zombies 🧟‍♀️. The rest is up to use on the tree 🌳 I use fist and shotgun with slugs and a silence mod for sneak damage and penetrator perk. I’m retired US ARMY veteran and a long time subscription fan from your old day’s. If you don’t mind using or test the build in game. FYI health bars, and healing items will make you level up fast and keep you alive. Thank you for your time bro.

I think the first few weeks of the game is really the best part of the game.. .The struggle for food and water, along with making the decisions that will elevate your character into the later game is so interesting and fun. :)

ouch. broke ur leg. get at least 1 in parkor. at least u got a cooking pot. faster than me. funny story. I started a personal run using spears for weapon. wife got home with kiddo and paused the game. well said kiddo, went to my computer and unpaused the game. when I go back inside, I went from morning of day 3, to afternoon of day 7 and no backpack to find. I lost everything!!!! half tempted to start run over. now it's day 12 and still not found old stuff and so far behind 8-ball. so do u think I should start run over or see if i can make it?

Taking a tier 3 at this point was risky, but if you know what you are doing really not too dangerous. I probably would have knocked out a few stairs before I looted, but we all have our own playstyles, and yours seems to work just fine.

I always enjoy these early episodes, where you are trying to figure out the basics of staying alive. Looking forward to seeing where you spend the night.. :)

Found your channel and subscribed. I love 7DTD. I have about 5000 hours in the game. I binge watched your experimental build playthrough and thought I might mention a couple of things which might be helpful to you: You struggled with food and water issues. I think that was because you put a point in healing factor, which, while great in that it slowly heals you, it draws that healing from your food and drink reserves. You can offset that some by putting a point in iron gut. During the horde you did not know why you could not upgrade your status which reflected a red check mark in your tier progression. When you have a limiting injury, like a concussion, infection, etc, you are penalized in your status. If you had taken a pain pill and cured your infection, then you could have put points into the upgrade.
