I will be honest I'm really not sure this video was recorded from the Typhoon gamers server which I was an admin for. Not sure if it's still running or not to find out the details but I know some of the stuff was custom on the server so may not be available.

@@DockerzGaming Took it out for a first-time spin in Warlords and didn't get shot down after a good pass, but I sure as hell had to use every flare in the bucket. Unfortunately, I didn't know what throttle I needed to land. Took a break to watch this. Still won, though.

@@DethChikken when you're on your map hold shift and left click I think. Been a long time since I played it and not all game modes allow it to work. Hope it helps

This mission was made for the server. I'm not sure if it's still running but look for 'Typhoon Gamers'. I believe it was an epoch server.

The server I played on was Typhoon Gamers which I think was an epoch server. Haven't played the game online for years so I honestly can't say sorry. Maybe search for an Antistasi server they are good missions I hear.

I believe whatever the targeting pod is aiming at will show as a small cross hair on the HUD if you look around. However I do not believe you can aim it while flying only when in the targeting pod screen itself. Sorry haven't played the game since uploading this so not 100% sure.

It depends what mod you’re running. If you’re asking what I think you are, on vanilla aircraft, the indicator for where your targeting pod is looking is going to be that small dotted line circle. With other mods sometimes it’s a dotted line crosshair. So you could lock your targeting pod to a target and then turn until your notice which side that reticle is on in your hud and center yourself on it. Sometimes I use it to help with lining up for landings.

Thankyou appreciate it. I will be honest I haven't played the game in a very long time so I couldn't give you an honest answer. I believe the mod added more items and weapons etc to it than the remake had so think the mod may still be the better option. But that is pretty much more of a guess I would have to try play it.

In my opinion hard life is more immersive and much harder. It's also more streamlined at the beginning, that isn't a bad thing since many new players struggle a lot with what to do and where to go in bsm. And hard life is also much more stable and crashes less often. Bsm has more guns, but it's negligible since both can have over a thousand guns with too many variants of the same weapon.

​@@mustno3 Hi, someone who spent like 400 hours playing the "remake" mod (7'62 HARD LIFE) on and off since 2021, it is WORTH IT, the mod ADDS, CHANGES, FIXES, UPGRADES pretty much everything in game, it adds new endings, new ways of reaching them, new ways to finish quests, many new questlines, fixes a lot of bugs (still the game is buggy as hell unfortunately) and adds new weapons and gear but that's not important because if you also add the GEG mod (Give Everybody Guns) the game becomes an insane tactical mil-sim, the GEG mod (newest version on 7'62 modding discord) basically changes everything about gear and guns, all ammo, weapons, gear, ballistics has been remade to be realistic, the game basically adds thousands of real life guns and their variants, scopes, grips, silencers, ammo types and brands, uniforms, casual outfits, hats, helmets, plate carriers, and it affects the whole game, HLA + GEG is the ultimate experience in my opinion

Hey buddy. I also press T which is for "next target". However I believe for it to work you need to turn the planes Radar on. I haven't played ARMA 3 since recording this video but I think the key combo is "Left Ctrl + R". I could be very wrong so please check under controls for either aircraft or common. Would like to get back into this game and flying again it's such a great one. Let me know if this helps hopefully I have remembered the reason why haha.

@@DockerzGaming Thanks for replying so quickly - I'll try it later when I play with the A-10 to try it out. Do you remember which rockets are good for targeting? Pretty sure some of them are only going straight forward.

If I remember rightly the Wipeout has: 2x heatseaking air-air rockets that require lock ons. 2x rocket pods that are free fire so no lock on just fire off a few where the hud shows the impact point. 4x Laser guided bombs that can also be dropped without lock. 4x Air-ground missile that require lock on. And of course the GAU-8 cannon for just shedding everything apart. You asking this has made me redownload the game haha. Need to get back to it 👍

I've just done a search for the default load out to give you the exact names. Nearly had the loadout correct it's 6x ATG lock ons. 1x Gatling Cannon 6x Macers. (lock on Air to Ground anti vehicle) 4x Laser guided GBUS 2x shrieker rocket pods(free fire no lock) 2x Falchion 22 AAM (Air to Air heatseakers require lock) Hope this helps ask away if you have anything else I will try remember.

Hey buddy. Unfortunately I haven't played ARMA since making this video but I will give a couple details I can remembwr. That's weird the HUD isn't showing. Could be a setting somewhere that's disabling it. With the controls most of them are under the plane control settings but some of the weapons controls and targeting camera controls are under the weapon control tab for some reason. Apart from that it may be mods or server settings that are conflicting and disabling stuff. Hope this helps and sorry I can't give you more details.

It really does. 7.62 hc was inspired by jagged Alliance, many people called it the Russian ja. I really love ja2 and learned to love 7.62 high caliber as well. One of the many cool features of the blue sun mod is including M.E.RC along with many of the characters from the ja series.

If I remember rightly the default jeybind is "N". It should cycle through standard/nightvision/black hot/white hot thermal. Hope I've remembered rightly Haha 👍

Make sure you're in side chat then double click the map to add a marker they can see. The top right of the map window you can change the marker type that will show up. As for drawing lines I cant remember to be honest I never done it.

You dont need the laser just select the air to air missile (cant remember the name) then click next target to lock. You have to get within a certain range and it should then give the diamond to show you can fire. Been ages since I flown it but believe this is what I did.

I'll be honest I havnt played since making this video but it should be under view tab in the control settings. It should be your default zoom in and out control.

It doesnt need the silencer at all. As a DMR it's great but very heavy as it's all metal. If you want the proper sniper feel without the VSR10 is a great choice.

I'm not sure I think its left ctrl + mouse wheel for the flaps but you can also just scroll wheel in the action menu to do it. I rebound them to 2 buttons next to my mouse wheel. I dont think you can get an overlay to show when in 3rd person view other than looking at the thrusters or props and guessing if they're fully up or down. Bit of a pain for people who only fly 3rd person.
