Currently restoring this truck in Oklahoma, going to go to the firefighter museum in Tulsa. Foŕ those that dont know, OKCFD donated this truck to NYC right after 911, becouse FDNY lost some or all of their rescue trucks in the collapse. Then it became a reserve later on. Really cool that such different and far away states could help each other when needed.

There are basically 3 major issues! #1- People don't notice the lights and sirens or simply tune them out because they hear them so often. #2- People simply don't care. #3- Even if you try to yield and make way for the emergency vehicle, in many cases you literally can't. So with all those issues combined, emergency vehicles have a heck of a time getting through traffic and it's also quite dangerous!
