The manual secondary guns from tier 8 to 10 on the line have very underwhelming AP performance. I’ve trying to point that out to everyone in the hope that we might see a slight buff in the future. FDG’s main guns also need a little help as well. There are some solid tier 9 BB’s with Lepanto and Duncan leading the way. Iowa is serviceable and the rest really only work in respawn and ranked.

There is no perfect solution to match making. That’s why I focused on no bot DD’s, no bot CV’s and hopefully spread the tiers equally between teams. Hopefully that way, the wait time doesn’t increase and we get a little better game experience. Remember, I’m just a player offering up my own opinion about likes and dislikes in this game.

That’s a tough question. So I’ll apologize for a long winded response. Bob is a cruiser main so he probably has more experience with the ship than I do. If he still says it’s good, then he’s probably right. Personally, I think there are more dynamic options at tier 9. Most of my experience comes from playing against the ship in tournaments and it’s just ok in that situation. Plymouth is also on sale and IMO, it’s a better all around ship. It has smoke, radar and sonar and is a favorite of my tournament teammates. There’s also a bundle for a camo with an epic commander in the shop for Plymouth. I have Kronshtadt and find it to be a decent ship in randoms. It’s fairly tanky and has very accurate main guns. I wish it had a radar to help defend against DD’s that get too close. It all comes down to your comfort spending money on a ship and your playstyle. If you enjoy the more “sniper” cruiser playstyle, this is a good ship.

Even in a BB, I can dodge torps, main gun salvos, Dutch airstrikes, even torpedo planes at times….. but no meaningful counter play to the guided missiles, I mean dive bombers 😂

Some people find the BB playstyle super boring especially at lower tiers since they are so slow. I know I had that problem with them when I first started playing the game and went to DD’s.

I know Duncan is a monster with the AP camo and Tovey. I can only imagine how devastating StV would be with that combo

I have John trovey on my vincent. On the days were I get the ap camo, I get 6 to 7 citadels every game

@@adarshhari6569 I can’t wait to be able to move Tovey onto StV. I’m stuck until the next ROTW tier and bans are set to see if I need him on another ship.

Out of the tech tree BB’s? StV is the best by far. Then Columbo, Yamato, Vermont and Kremlin not necessarily in that order.

I want to give all of the tournament type events a platform. Hopefully it gets some new players interested.

That’s a fair assessment of that skill slot. I think it’s a personal preference when look at the reduced cooldown for that one super heal or the extra PA salvos. I will get into it with Duncan and STV videos that about half of my experience with these ships has been in tournaments. In tournaments, I found having that second repair kit back early can be a huge advantage with the ships. Most of my tournament experience in BB’s has been on the “weak” side of the team where every HP I can get my hands on is super important to hold against a strong push from the red team. I find StV is accurate enough that I don’t stress the PA skill very much. Of course, I don’t necessarily spec my PA ships into Marksman or fire supremacy.

I can work on that. Do you think an aiming guide for one tech tree at a time would be good? Or something more general? Since ever ship line kinda has some weird quirks, it makes me think I should highlight a line.

@@TheSoulfire73 I think a general one would be a good start. I have been enjoying your overview of the lines. Maybe in future videos on the Tech lines you can add in a few comments on aiming with that specific tech tree.

Probably a toss up between Hawke and VV for best tech tree tier 8. Both are really nice ships!

How long have you been playing? I used to have the same issue when I started but with silver boosters, I can normally earn silver pretty quickly.

I’m going to answer the survey again if I can and list out the bugs I know of. Hopefully they slowly work on them without breaking the game

I just started working with the British lines. I still have the French and the Schlieffen lines to look at in the future.

I just looked at the patch notes from 7.1. It did get an AA buff like the rest of the US BB’s. Just for some reason the small caliber AA numbers were never as good as Monty or Vermont to begin with.

I agree admiral HiHi I enjoy playing the Ohio I luv it when a dd would try to sneak a flanking attack .

It’s close enough to the play style. The guns don’t have the massive citadels but they reload so much faster so damage output potential is comparable. California is such a nice ship.

I tried to get the space camo as well during that event but wasn’t lucky for that sale. I really want to try out the space camo with a full secondary build at some point.

You can’t directly compare the two ships but I don’t think it’s even close when you play the two ships. StV is so strong with its guns, stealth and super heals. StV is a much different play style but if played properly, I’m not sure any tech tree BB can beat it.

I don’t have the ship so my opinion comes from playing against the ship, talking with my fleetmates and seeing other players videos. Gdansk is a large DD with poor detection. Because of that, I don’t think we will see many Gdańsk’s in tournament settings. In randoms, it’s a strong ship but I haven’t seen enough to say if it needs any kind of nerf.

I don’t understand why we have two different versions between blitz and PC.

I'm not sure how giving GK a Tirple Barrel of 12 x 406/420mm would work. Because my problem with that is the turret angle. Having 12 guns would mean limited firing angle, and that would be worst. Which means you have to show an uncomfortable broadside inorder to unleashed this barrels of salvo. Not to mention, kitting in the GK would be useless, as people in World of Warship PC complains that the 12 barrels is making the ship unable to kite away.

I did the grind after the nerf. Still a solid ship at the tier after the nerf

@TheSoulfire73 Maybe I will try again, but my blueprints for t9-10 are nearly depleted lol do you think it is better to grind with a non-upgrade with t9 or not?

@@dididikaaa that’s a tough question. It all depends on the amount of free xp, large XP boosters, premium time you have available and if tier 9 respawn is coming out. I normally spend the blueprints because I grind ship lines out very slow and I really want to see how good the ship really is. In the case of Lepanto or Duncan, I’d say spend the blueprints and keep the ships for ranked battles or if you ever decide to try out tournaments.
