A slave tool is always locked to a master however like our adverts we offer decoding of slave files and turn them yo master function where we are selling files also. Regards

Its a slave, only the master can do it. So if you buy a master you can do all by yourself or buy from who ever you want :)

Here we advertise the slave tools as a insight to show what you can do, I have no problem allowing my dealers master access its one of the rarest services you will find amongst companies just send me a slave file and I'll decode it in minutes.

I doubt it will flag up any errors as its likely the car wont even know they're missing it'll just think you're not using the paddles, then again i'm not a BMW technician but thats my prediction. A way of testing this before you dive into purchasing the new wheel would be to remove the airbag from your current wheel and simply unplug the paddle shifters and take it for a test drive (after reinstalling the airbag of course) to see if any errors show up. Side note, always disconnect the battery when you are removing airbags otherwise it will cause the airbag light to come on which can only be reset with a code reader.

Dpf is gone you can tell by the smoke

Guessing by amount of smoke that DPF was deleted. Unfortunately deleting dpf can cause serious problems to you in our country, cars with deleted dpf are road illegal here...
