Great video, Ishnai Ciarfox. Looking forward to your next upload. I smashed the thumbs up button on your content. Keep up the fantastic work! The connection between seismic activity and gold nugget formation is fascinating. How might this knowledge influence future geologic exploration methods for gold?

I literally started this game almost a month ago as an Elezen archer in Gridania (I swear it’s the best place in Eorzea so seeing another person start their journey there just gives me the feels😆) Now I’m a level 50 Bard and I am just in love with this mmo.

Yeah, I really like the area as it is. I'm more of a forest person anyways. Also I have found it the less confusing of the main cities...

new to the channel here and loving ur content, it's cool to see people covering recent science news 🤓 cool vtube model too! was it hard to make? edit: about the fish die offs, we've been getting bizarre death events in gulf south usa of some really robust (and important) species. these heat-loving algae can produce a nasty array of toxins and lots of beachgoers I think will be directly poisoned this coming summer
@ishnai7 ай бұрын
Thanks! I stream my science streams every first Thursday of every month (now starting at 8 pm central) and the section here is from it so if you wanna join it live then, you can! These edited videos are released every Thursday throughout the month. And I did make the vtube model myself using VRoid Studio, which is free and found on steam. The hair and other things like textures are created by me in the program but it isn't too overwhelming to learn how to do yourself. Though, this is coming from someone who once studied to get a degree in Animation. Just as a warning. Yeah, I've heard that the red algae blooms have been getting worse around there. It isn't just dangerous to swim in or be around, I've heard the toxins can be found in marine life that is fished up for human consumption. From what I remember, part of it is caused by the warming climate but the other is the massive use of fertilizer by people who want to keep green lawns and farming companies that, rather than using sustainable rotation farming to naturally rejuvenate soil, they just keep adding fertilizer. It is lovely to hear from you and glad that you are enjoying the videos! If you have any subjects you are interested in, please share!

@@ishnai wow well since you took the time to be so candid and give me so much info I'll do the same! i'm a former (unless you count the bs in my garage) molecular biologist. i worked in a genetic sequencing lab until recently and my thesis involved the origin and evolutionary history of charophycean algae, paleosols, and that history's implications for modern soil remediation. so the N fertilizer runoff situation is of particular interest to me. however I think a great idea (if you don't already do this) would be to have a segment where on stream you do some live Google Scholar searches on topics that your audience suggests, then just pick a publication that looks good and read the abstract, maybe look at some figures. if people find it boring you can move on but maybe you'll find a neat rabbit hole or two. if you think this'll be neat but need some initial ideas before your audience is into it, feel free to ask me - i'm basically a natural history encyclopedia also, HUGE thank you for the information on your vtube model. literally within the last week i've been gettin into vtubers and I really wanna try my hand at it as well. I only have 11 subs on here so far but when I post my vid i'm editing now where I fix a super dead garden bed, i'll be shouting you and your sci streams out!
@ishnai7 ай бұрын
@@racenturtlez That sounds like a good idea, though the one thing holding it back is some publications make you either pay for a subscription or per article. But at least for many, they at least have the abstract on them. As for what started me on creating these streams, it was because of the Intuitive Machine's Odysseus Lander live stream. Though we didn't watch it as it was happening, I went through with the video while sharing information that I knew. For a time, I worked at a space museum as a guide, so I had many stories that isn't widely known. Former scientists and engineers would volunteer there, and we'd get talking so I got a lot of information. As for the VTubing stuff, good luck with it. The nice part about that program is the free nature of it with its many features. VTube Studio says it's free but blocks many functions behind a monthly subscription. The only downside that I find so far is the mesh isn't as complex so compared to other models, the expressions aren't as, well, expressive. Gl on editing your video, your channel and creating your vtuber!

@@ishnai oh yeah that'll definitely be an obstacle but maybe you could play a drinking game with all the lame paywalls - sip every wall, cup of water when it's free. i'd say ~20% of em out there are free access. good luck!

Quick question. I want to upload no commentary walkthroughs for KH2 final mix. And i was wondering how i sound go about copy right id claims? I did KH1 Final mix and never had any problems. But KH2 seems to be different.
@ishnai11 ай бұрын
There have been a lot of changes in copyright id since I've posted this video 2 years ago. Even last year's playthrough I have had copyright claims. However, in 2023 playthrough I am no longer claimed for as many songs. I seem to just have problems with the opening one, Hallow Bastion world, Halloween Town world, and the Little Mermaid songs. Copyright claims aren't as bad as strikes, just that the monetization will not all go towards you but rather also the others that claim it. If you are really just going for a no commentary one, might just need to turn off the music for the recording but keep the voices? I don't know since it is an older game whether it will allow for just voices. I'm not sure. I'm sorry I can't be of more help on the issue. I know many other KH streamers/creators have this problem and we have been trying to push back on it. Trust me, it has come a long ways since this video here.

@@ishnai I'm replying with my main account. Anyway, I spent the last day trying different things. And I figured out a way to deal with copyright music, without having to turn the music all the way off. Basically I spit the part of the video that had the copyright music. Then I separated the audio, and lowered it to the point you can just barely hear it. I don't know if that will work with every video that has copyright music. But so far it's worked for me and my KH2 videos. If you have problems with copyright soundtracks, then definitely try this method. You might have to adjust it a few times, to hit that sweet spot. But it's Definitely worth it. Anyway thank you. And I wish both you and your channel nothing but success
