For drive train friction, I recommend sanding the shafts round, at points where it matters, like the bearings. That’s one of the techniques my team used on our drive train and intake on multiple bots, and it worked great for us. Honestly haven’t heard of this technique much anywhere else.

Season 2 Episode 12 VEX V5 Robotics Competition High Stakes is a game where two alliances compete to score more points than the other: Field: A 12' x 12' square field with a ladder, stakes, mobile goals, and rings Alliances: Two alliances, one red and one blue, each made up of two teams Objective: Score more points than the opposing alliance by scoring rings on stakes, placing mobile goals, and climbing the ladder Scoring: Each ring scored on a stake is worth one point, and the top ring on each stake is worth three points Mobile goals: Hexagonal scoring objects with a maximum diameter of 10 inches and an overall height of 14.5 inches Ladder: Located in the center of the field, with three levels and one high stake Match: Consists of a 15-second autonomous period followed by a 1 minute and 45-second driver controlled period Rules: Rings can only be counted for points once, and you cannot touch scored rings or mobile goals in the positive corners during the last 15 seconds of the match
