4runner had it before a tundra and the 3rd gen had a button on the remote to roll down that window. Which I miss a lot. Also the 4th gen had soft close on the tailgate. But let’s all celebrate our brand new 2004 4Runners this past 20 years because the 6th gen is not the same. Toyota do so much better.

The 3rd Gen 4 Runner had a button for the window? It’s a tough time to live because there’s nothing like naturally aspirated engines especially for their reliability. Reason why I want a 5th Gen 4 Runner again and would love to have a 2nd Gen Tundra possibly

Are you able to get the middle seat belt out of the way when folded down. I’ve been wanting to purchase a 2025 Tacoma for my family and my dog. I want to make sure that it can have an unobstructed flat surface for him to be on during long road trips.

I’ll pay attention to that next time, but my honest opinion I would say probably not possible to remove the middle seat seatbelt out-of-the-way temporarily unless you unbolt it. I think almost any dog with struggle to jump their way into the rear seat when folded, and you’re best solution might be to get a dog cover for the back. Also, in case of an accident from behind having a dog cover with those seats folded up, there would at least be more cushion

Forget the “anti-theft” it’s annoying that it turns off. That’s good to know the Ford doesn’t turn off for reference 👍

@@ChrisDriven yeah my Ford doesn’t turn off all you do is tap the start button and when it senses your fob it just goes into normal idle mode after remote start mode. Also the app lets me extend the remote start idle time to a half hour

No more Tundras for me. Between the sealed transmission that dies at 120,000 miles (the "life" of the truck) and the crap 6 cylinder engines with twin turbos (failing from internal debris and unnecessarily complicating the great 5.7L naturally aspirated V8 with more moving parts and higher cylinder pressures) I have nothing to look forward to with future Tundras. If you own a Tundra, flush the fluid every 30,000 miles. Don't believe the Toyota BS.

The seat cushion doesn’t lock down. So when you go off road they will bounce up and down. Can button them up but then everything in the store compartment will bounce around.
