This deserves a million likes. What’s wrong with the world. People dancing on tiktok get millions of likes but this true heart warming story and this beautiful soul grieving has 4 likes. The world needs to do better. If you see this message my heart and prayers go out to you and your family 🙂

Thinking of you. You are always going to be Dec's Mum - even though he is not here visible to you. You had / have such a strong bond - nothing can change that. You are doing really well - keep going. Have never been to the Isle of Wight - must do so as it looks beautiful and I always like going to stay on islands - maybe it's the book-lover in me - so many children's books and classics have been set on islands.

@@DecsRollinglist yeah course what you fancy doing like checking out our scenery, maybe some nice walks? I have started hill walking (sounds boring but good for the head) I stay in bothys all scattered around the highlands go away for weekend take the fishing rods etc, we also have some lovely beaches to check out (probz better in summer) if you wanted to check out our history Stirling castle & the bannockburn heritage centre. Nightlife for food and drinks I find Glasgow or Edinburgh better. Glamping has became very popular here also so look around for secluded pods its great being in the middle of nowhere in this fantastic mini lodge. Maybe try a whisky tour, of course try haggis 🤣 try the harry potter train (the jacobite steam train) & maybe the over night sleeper train its a fantastic experience with meals and proper beautiful hotels on a train (scenery is stunning and lots of routes you can take) anything else you can think of or need any info on give me a shout 💙

Sadly iv never Met Dec, im getting to Know through you who Dec was. And him living on in so many ways. You are amazing. The grieving process hits hard and fast. THE DEC AFFECT will live on throug you his wonderful Mum and so many other people's lives. If you would like to come and have a cup of tea at mine. Im disabled but in a different way. I am sending you hugs 🫂 ps no pressure about coming for a cuppa. Dec will always be with you though your heart and memories. He is your Angel in the sky x

A day at a time hun, you will get there! You will never forget but always have your personal memories to cherish, never forget you are a fantastic mother who gave dec so many wonderful years! I have been struggling massively too my uncle (who was more like a father to me) passed a year ago suddenly from covid at the age of 55 but my aunt got a letter he’s on the covid inquiry list in Scotland (they think nhs basically killed him with overdose of morphine and painkiller when covid treatment should have been used) I still cry everyday missing the man but now this shit having to bring back those shit times in hospital & now having to go to court cases its horrible but we will get there just like you 💙

Well done. You are doing so well. There is a beautiful waterfall near Okehampton - will look it up. Steep in places - go with friends. We visited at least 15 years ago so a bit hazy. Lydford Gorge.
