In retrospect, Spurs must appreciate and thank Dallas for waking them up at the right time. Perhaps the Spurs are thinking way too ahead for immediate rematch against the Heat. The Mavs brought them to reality and pushed them to the distance. Because if it was easy, the Spurs could develop complacency good enough for Portland and especially OKC to spoil the redemption run.
