I often find Mr. Mogard's music to be dark, sometimes a little scary, but this?... this is a big, warm, fuzzy blanket of a piece of music! Everyone needs a warm blanket in these uncertain, dystopian times. Snuggle in and revel in the undulating waves of calm reassurance!

I don't really believe the story about this guy supposedly being some ex-factory worker from Serbia, who just randomly started getting into ambient music. (Nevermind the fact that 'Abul Mogard' isn't a very typical Serbian name} This sound is WAY too articulate, way too aware of what it's doing and what conventions in ambient/drone music it's playing at that this could've been done by someone who wasn't deeply in love with ambient music their entire life. What matters is that this is unbelievably beautiful and it truly doesn't matter WHO Abul Mogard really is. His music speaks for itself.

I am not one normally given to soppy new-age gushing, but if the cosmos has a consiousness, this is what it sounds like. This music is transcendent, and as someone notes below , he uses harmony but manages to avoid banal sentimentality. Magnificent.

Abul is the king. Few people are able (pun not intended) to create music that is so perfectly-balanced between ambient and noise, melody and granular, abstract sound, emotion and intellect. IMHO he should be a megastar.
