Torque the flex plate bolts while the frame is off. Also, it's a great time to do the starter.

⁠@@MrMK211516 ⁠ got it knocked out. It took me a good 8 hours to complete. I found it the hardest for me to get the transmission and subframe back up with in my jack. If I had a different jack set up this would have been cut an easy 1 hour plus. Like for example a transmission jack, could have used with a board or something to help lift the subframe as well. My wife made great moral support and helper.. it’s her vehicle anyway 😁. I’m using a low pro jack and a scissor jack. A dang furniture dolly or similar would have helped for sure.. that subframe is heavy. My power steering is electronic so it made it even easier. Your video made getting it done so much easier I’m sure compared to going in blind doing it for the first time 🍻

I didn't want to erase the radio memory. This worked and it was a couple bucks. But thanks for the kill switch. I'll let my buddy that owns a kia know.

Cliping can also occure with the head unit. Is so then your head unit is allready sending a clpping into your amp. Did you use 75% of your headunits power to measure clipping and gain? There is no need to post an video if you haven't tried contact skar first.

Yes. I just go by ear when the speakers clip. Usually around 70-80 percent. The terrible purchase is the meter not the amp or sub.

Pull the carpet and spare cover there's plenty of places. Just make sure you scratch the paint off. Wish I could help you more but I don't have my Z anymore.

A little advice…It always helps to have the car warmed to operating temperature before attempting to remove such parts. Ya sounds crazy but really does help. Heat is key in this case and and a few good taps..💯👍

Thanks. Quick notes, my intake ducts and serpentine belt weren't on. Also no oil or coolant. Also I didn't have enough room to hit them hard enough on the car.

I was going to do this but when I pulled the hose from the “T” well the “T” broke. Tried to remove it and it broke in all three hoses.not sure what to use as a replacement t.

Parts store has a generic wall with 5/8 T fitting. You can also ask the guy at the counter. Sometimes, they'll have them behind the counter visible. Good luck.

If you have time locate a metal 5/8 Tee fitting from parts store .. or order one Otherwise generic platic Tee 5/8 will do ..5/8 all three sides dont forget

Don't stress that's what KZbin is for. I have had hondas with a list too, and it's worse because you can't go to the junkyard and get the part. If I had a dollar for every cracked gas pump housing on those mid 2000 civics. Everyone has a quirk. This car has been super reliable.

So Usually when installing a scytek basic remote no drone. Kill switch underneath ignition switch. But if thief breaks in very difficult for him to disarm kill switch if placed under ignition switch, right ? Very technical setup ?

@jesusspencer4219 the only complaint my wife gave me was that things shut off, ac, radio , etc. So it could be messing with your injectors or computer.

exact break for me too. IN 2023 on a 2014 GMC Acadia. Now I just need to figure out the "quick" disconnect. Quick for manufacturing.....not for me.

Just break it off. You don't need it anymore. Just be careful with the aluminum pipe not to bend or score it too bad.

My problem is that the remote start and turbo timer does not work after two times … had a body guard system before user friendly … easier to install … only thing positive about this system is the range …up to (800m) range (claimed )I did try it … the range is really really good and I like the notification to the remote…I emailed them and all they did was send back the wiring diagram which I already had …. My advise don’t buy this system for remote start or turbo timer capabilities … if you just need a basic alarm then go ahead … after 3 months the remotes stopped working and could not be reprogrammed to the system so overall I would not recommend … Nam Jamaica
