A very well crafted documentary that rises above the usual denigration of either Māori or European. We, as a nation, would do well to discuss matters without either rancour or bitterness as those things do nothing to heal our nation, they only to divide us. Thank you Kiri.

Aroha Kiri, I am a wandering psychiatrist, practicing in Tairawhiti for a few years now but from the other corner of the Polynesian Triangle - Hawai`i, where I am today visiting whanau before attending the American Psychiatric Association meeting in SanFrancisco. Anyway, I have been enjoying your metaphysical kaupapa, brilliant korero and ever more polished editing. When I told my team about being a fan, one our children of the mist, Anaru, said "Oh yeah Kiri, she's whanau." Please keep sharing your growing cosmic awareness with us all. I have the sense it may help point tangata maori (ordinary humanity) toward a potential "key" to transcending our current predicament and expanding ourselves toward large-scale regeneration of health and wholeness. I certainly hope so! Nga mihi nui roa, Doug

Kia ora True Patriot. Perhaps we'll cross paths with mahi or at a conference. I'm glad you like the metaphysical kaupapa. My regards to my whanaunga in Tairawhiti.

Fascinating content, I'm looking for wider perspectives on mental health and the important role our social setting plays in our well being and development. Social and Human ecological principles seem to be interwoven in the culture of the Island of Aotearoa from the beginning and aren't inventions of a industrialised west as they would have us think, I get a chance to have contact with people from Aotearoa remotely on my Uni course so the different perspectives I really enjoy, the Maori higher educational establishments and targeted public health initiatives I feel are a good example for the world of how to do things.
