NOTE TO ANYONE INSTALLING THIS: Take the tailgate off and just lay it sideways in the trunk. It is VERY difficult to get the hinges in the right place; put all the bolts in; and get this thing lined up with the tailgate in the way. Also; why does the video basically give up any instructions the second it gets to installing the actual carrier? Seems like the last 10 seconds of the video is installing the actual thing. Also; where the heck is the third brake light extension!!! I haven't found it in the box yet? The third brake light isn't even in the last scenes of the video...

No hi clearance tow hitch is a dealbreaker for me ,the main reason for upgrading would be to eliminate the super low tow hitch

Cool looking do not hold up as actual rock sliders though! I installed them and they flex way to much to hold up to use as actual sliders once asked about it they said and I quote the rock sliders are not designed to hold the weight of the vehicle like true rock sliders are designed to do. If you ask me completely waist of money if you plan on using them in true forms of off roading!

Some of the worst quality products you can buy are smittybilt i bought an artic from 4wp died in a week their "we will replace it no questions asked warranty" is as horsecrap as smittybilts customer service dept never being available by call or email of course i havent been back since why support 2 bad companies with snake oil warranties

They got to be better then the Bumper superstore I paid $3000 for a trailready bumper and 2 months after I paid for the bumper I get a email saying that the labor day sale is over and the bumper went up $400 and they want the extra $400 I told then that there must be a mistake because I paid in full and I've never heard back from them I have a receipt where I paid in full They want return my calls and deleted my reviews They just scamming people Good luck out there
