I liked, subscribed, and am commenting now lol. TOM BAKER RULES. I always have to get that right up front every time I comment on anything 4th Doctor or Silver Chair related lol. And, my god, old 4th Doctor looks a lot like Baker today. He could so play an old 4th Doctor lol.

Season 7 for me was a cracker. Season 3 goes up there for one episode ranked the best and 4 other very good episodes. The impossible girl was so different and had a companion who did not just look confused all the time.

Jodi really was let down by terrible writing David Tennant couldn't have saved those scripts, and far too many companions She would have been better off with a season on her own and then get a companion Petronella Osgood is the companion we needed and never got imo

The 15th doctor is really bad in my opinion. He doesnt fit the doctor role at all. His apearance is like a total reset of doctor who as a series. The episodes feel very different than the previous series. Its best to look at this as "new doctor who" from now on

@Dassusauce I feel the opposite. a lot of 15's episodes feel derivative of previous stories, eg. Space Babies is the Ark in Space written in the tone of Alien's in London or Love and Monsters, The Devil's Chord is your standard celebrity historical where the main threat has an ironic gimmick (Charles Dickens meets Ghosts, Shakespeare meets Witches etc.), without the more experimental approach they'd be so much more forgettable. While Ncuti's characterisation is different for the most part, I can see hints that tie him to previous incarnations, the two which spring to mind are Colin Baker and Patrick Troughton, sometimes camp and theatrical others more calm and humble. I appreciate how he's more open and honest than other doctors, especially how closed off 13 was. Plus, some of his looks do take some influence from other Doctors.
