Some of the Remington musket grandaddys had the black bone. I have one and it has one spot about the size of a dime where the dye didn't take as well and goes from black to brown to cream. I think it adds character or something. Could be wrong, but i think they were made by Camillus.

Hey buddy been watching alot of your older kme sharping vids. I have the diamond set of stones that goes up to 1500 grit. Could you point me in the right direction as to what is the best stones to get to take it to a mirror polish. I have about 150 bucks and was wondering what stones to get that could get me better results, or would the lapping flim kit get me there. Thanks for any advice you can share.
@KnifeKrazy.12 күн бұрын
The lapping films are what you need to achieve a mirror edge. Right after the 1500. Start the films. If you just want it very shinny. Then you can do an Arkansas translucent and then strop.
