Hi There thanks for watching!! What kind of figures are you planning to get? If "ichibansho" then yes usually bigger. If "Dragon Ball" then for sure bigger haha. In my other videos I got a lot of Jojo figures too which are more slender than Dragon Ball. Also most of the Jojo didn't come with plastic inserts unlike the Dragon Ball ones which pretty much ALL came with the inserts. Having no inserts really helped with the "space" because you can't really fold them unless you plan to throw those away but we wanted to keep it so it did take awhile for us to "stack them all" which made it harder when we got home to figure out which was which cuz we didn't label the plastics. Because the jojo figures didn't come with inserts and were slender, we used a LOT more bubble wrap and tissue to stuff inside the "Fragile areas" like under the thin arm, or inside a cloak, etc. and then wrapped it with more bubble wrap and then plastic wrap to secure it in place. Once in the suitcase we also wrapped it around in clothing too especially the ones that had to go on the outer areas of the suitcase. Some of my "smaller figures", i was able to put inside the dragon ball plastic inserts too so that also helped save space. What size suitcase do you have? I personally recommend going to Don Quijote if you need more space rather than bringing extra empty suitcases now to Japan UNLESS you know for sure you will get all the figures you are hoping to find. If so then you can kind of mentally space it out and know if you will need more now or can wait for later. But I really love the hard case luggages from Don Quijote and for us, it was a lot easier being able to "measure" there since we knew the actual size of the box. If your main focus are dragon ball figures, if you have more suitcases at home with u now to bring to Japan, that might be your best bet because they are huge. Shenron alone took up one side and because it's bulgy and huge, we couldn't really put anything on "the other side" of the suitcase because once it close it would just touch the other side so at that point you really only have the small spaces around it. All in all it really is a "tetris game". Just make sure you aren't forcing the figures in areas you think it would fit because it will get thrown around. That's why it' so important to just wrap the heck out of them (definitely don't cheap out or lazy out on the wrapping because it's super important). There are so many fragile areas that if it wasn't wrapped properly it would have probably broken off. As for the cardboard boxes, we flattened them of course and on one end (the bottom) we would fold it up so one side was even. We also used some of the smaller boxes we folded inside the zipper areas of our luggage for that added protection. However keep in mind that cardboard is hard so don't put too much in there because once your luggage is closed and there' no "give" then it would also cause damage. It's a trial and error game too hehe. We got all our supplies from Daiso. Keep in mind though that not ALL daiso carry the large bubble wrap and they tend to sell out a lot of the times. We had to go to a few before we were able to restock from our first round of wrapping haha. We only went with 2 suitcases and so we were going to ship it back too but we decided having more suitcases down the road isn't the worst thing so we got 2 more at Don Quijote instead of shipping it back. Because we didn't go that route I honestly don't know how much it would have cost to ship home or where you live so it really depends. We brought back like 40-50 figures in total? and 3 peoples clothing in 4 suitcases and everything came back in one piece thankfully so that worked out for us. We are planning another trip to Japan too and this time because we already have the 2 new ones we got from last time that are from Don Quijote we might just bring them there too which would mean we would be going with 4 suitcases there this time. But we will also pack a lot lighter as we went in the winter last time so it really depends on your situation too! We have a kid so we needed a lot of extra clothing diapers etc which took up a lot of space on it's own. Sorry for the long reply but hope this helps!!

@ it’s all good thank you for the reply I can’t remember out suitcase I think they are all 28” and we’re taking three 2 empty so we’ll be fine I just hope I can make things fit we’ll definitely use your advice and fold the boxes and bubble wrap everything I’m focusing on dragon ball SHF Ichibansho and Kuji and honestly whatever else I find haha. Did you stack the plastics on top of each other ?because I know some figures have them inside how did you manage to store them since you had so many figures. We’ll probably just end getting a new suitcase i do plan on leaving with 4. So hopefully we can just make them all fit but thank you so much ! I appreciate it

yassssss if you get a new suitcase go to Don Quijote. I'm serious their luggage is bomb. They used to be a lot better imo (the one i got back in 2019 just seemed a lot better) but the new one I just got in 2023 is still great and way better than what you get in the market now a days. For the plastics, yes for the ones I removed figures from i did have to stack them. For example my tokyo revenger ones were easiest to stack they were kind of all slender and standing the same ish. again we used plastic wrap to wrap it tightly together so it wouldn't fly everywhere plus it helped push it down so it didn't bulge out as much either. I still really like it. I do find it a bit difficult sometimes because the zipper only goes one way. (I have another backpack that has a double zipper so it can be opened and closed either way). But that was a really cheap one that I stuffed it like only half and it already started ripping. So with this I find it’s been good to me so far where I can stuff it to the rim and it’s still in good condition. The straps haven’t bothered me too much even when it’s full either. But definitely if I’m going on a long outing with my kid and I need access to a lot of things easily I don’t find this one works as well as I had hoped. But if you aren’t having to go into the backpack every like 20 minutes like I do then I find it great! 😌

Ya unfortunately it cant. I just got this backpack and it does not fit my 13" macbook air. It does fit an ipad (as long as it's not the big 12.9 pro one) and a few 8.5 x 11 paper notebooks. Since it's dome it tapers in which is why it only hold a few unless you have smaller ones. I honestly dont think i would recommend this backpack for school/work, i would say it's better as a purse substitute or diaper bag. If you want something to fit a laptop i would recommend the Lena Double Zip, it's slightly larger and should fit a 13" macbook (not sure about 15"). Im actually thinking of exchanging mine for the Lena.
