Nice video. I just acquired one of these and the CRT is terrible in it so i'm going to do a tube and chassis swap. This video was helpful, i was actually wondering how the bezel comes off and you showed those screws at the back on the inside. Thanks man!

Hey I know this is a long shot on such an old video, but I was wondering if you still have this cab and if you'd be willing to take some photos/measurements of the mini-marquee holder you pull out at 12:54. My Super Neo doesn't have one and I am trying to get a reproduction made. Would really appreciate it!

Normally is it a Hitachi chassis, i think its hart to find. If its broken take a Nanao chassis with monitor 👍 Greetings

I can't find the polarity reversing tip that you showed here. Would you know the exact name of this thing? Or link me to somewhere I can buy it? Thanks

I still use it once in a while. I made a “stack” of 3 jamma boards, each one mounted to a board and then stacked on top of each other with pegs holding them up. That way i can i can swap the connector between them quickly, or slide out the whole thing and swap in a neogeo board :)

Thanks for the video, I turned on my IU30! =) Just got it today and was sad that it does not work. They better made a click button not this freaking device.

Does the PCE works when attached to the interface unit but without the CD addon attached? I want to buy one.

Or you can buy these : en.retrogamesupply.com/products/power-supply-for-nec-pc-engine-interface-unit I have one since last year and it work great.

I bought that and it doesn't work. The power light on the interface works but no picture on screen. The PC Engine works with RF separately.

Question: I have an american Turbo CD unit and the power adapter fits into the jack, but the Turbo plug says 11v and on the side of the PC Engine interface, it says 9v, so I'm too scared to ppoer it up, lol. Is it safe to use, or are you not sure?

I have a pc-engine I got off my Hong Kong friend back in the 90's. It has AV cables coming out of the channel select opening and has phillips screws like yours. My RF works though. Maybe it was hacked to work on channel 3/4 instead of 95/96. Those wires could have been from an AV mod like mine.

a faulty rf modulator is common on these, even TG16s. i had a TG16 with this and i ended up desoldering it from the board and putting a female usb jack where the rf was. the 4 usb wires went to: video signal, audio left, audio right and ground. then i hacked the other end of the wires with red, white and yellow rca cable. now i have a clean USB port where the rf was that i can get stereo sound and composite video from! when i unplug the cable i made, it looks clean, like it was made that way!
