Well, in a way I agree - but your comment should be direct to the previous owner, not me. Here's a bit on the story of this car. This car was absolutely butchered by the previous owner, who did a really horrible back yard nasty install of airbags that were extremely unsafe (hoses cable tied to steering linkage etc). We recovered the car, and got it to at least a safe and maintainable level, where it could be saved and used, instead of scrapped by the horrible hacking and cutting the last guy had done. So yes in a way I agree, but be outraged at the original work. That's why it's worth finding out the background story of something and not just assuming that we butchered it. I then did plan on removing the airbags and fixing it further, but ran out of money to find the hard to get replacement steering, suspension, and axle items that the guy had butchered, so we could fix it, and already had too many projects. But at least I did my part in bringing it back from a total disaster.

Do you have a build thread? Or more pics of the airbag installation? I'm looking at picking one of these up soon and would love to put bags in it, but a little direction would help a lot. Cheers, Andrew

TheFartenator - hi! I'm afraid I don't, but I do have photos of the bags and how they're fitted. If you shoot me a message through my Facebook page "Lokout Racing Hugh" I can send you the photos if you like!

Do you have a blog or anything about the conversion? I've been thinking if doing this to run a Starion at SCCA Solo in SM. Was it expensive? Difficult to put together or mostly bolt in? What did you do for the transmission?

Please excuse the spectator comment in the background at one point early on. Was trying to edit it out, or put music over it but then we also would've lost the sound of the cars themselves, and my editing skills aren't quite good enough to edit out just one part.
