The Terminal Velocity is an upgrade for the Jetpack unlocked at Level 4, costing 17 Reserves. It improves upon the jetpack's qualities with increased boost capacity, increased thrust power, and faster recharge time, as well as granting the ability to perform an explosive slam. Left clicking will propel the user in a direction based on the Terminal Velocity's setting. The three modes can be cycled through by pressing R. Camera - Thrust depends on where your camera is pointed Movement - Thrust depends on whichever WASD key is being used Velocity - Thrust depends on movement direction, but will launch the user upwards if they are unmoving The Terminal Velocity has three charges that are used for thrusting. They will recharge after 2.5 seconds. All charges will be depleted upon death. While falling, the user can hold LeftShift(by default) even if the Terminal Velocity isn't equipped to slow their descent. However, this will prevent any charges from regenerating. Pressing Q while airborne will have the user quickly slam into the ground with little forward movement, dealing up to 110 damage to nearby Noobs based on their proximity and propels them straight up into the air. This will also briefly stun them. Killing enemies with the slam will restore some health. If you slam into a noob while they are in the air, it will deal 400 damage, one-shotting any unarmored noob. This extra effect can go over to bosses and deal ~100 damage to them. Pressing Q and space at same time will cause you to quickly slam the ground and bounce back into the air. Interestingly, the ammo depot of the Platform will always take 400 damage from the slam. Overview The Terminal Velocity is a straight upgrade to the standard Jetpack. The increased thrust power allows for even longer leaps than before, and the faster recharge time makes it easier to escape dangerous situations. Just be careful, as the extra thrust may sometimes overshoot you or bounce you off other surfaces. The Slam attack is a powerful tool for quickly pouncing on Noobs. The damage dealt is not dependent on flight, so it can be used right in front of an enemy. You can also hold the jump button to rebound after the slam attack, allowing you to stay airborne and constantly use slam attacks. If performed well, you may be able to hit Cloakers or Shielders with the slam before they can attack you. It is also very useful against Gunners, as repeatedly slamming them to death will prevent them from revving up their guns.
