Even though I'm actually 30 years old, when I watch your videos I feel like I'll be holding a camera and a 600mm lens one day. Thank you for everything. Your follower from Algeria

Hello Timothy, we got the exact same camera gear you used in this video. What was your Image Stabilizer setting on your 150mm-600mm Contemporary Lens while shooting this? It was very good... love the content

I’ve missed your postings. Definitely a Northern Waterthrush. August is often a challenging month for birding.
@timothylabrecque85894 ай бұрын
Thanks kevin, we moved this summer and now weve got a nice yard to do the birdwatching in. Been spending lots of time out there. Maybe ill make a video for all the species that come in the yard. Last month we had 28. Highlight so far for August is 2 pairs of Grosbeaks that frequent regularly

I'm pretty sure your bird with the streaked breast is a Northern Waterthrush. nice find.

Some people try to trash the 90D that you need the right “resolving power” on the lenses but every lens I’ve ever used on it has been sharp even when cropped way in. Some people just don’t know how to use lenses and their focus properly. The 90D is a great camera for the price. Great shots and nice work by the way.

Its a very versatile camera, great value and usability!

Nicely done. I’m a birder - not a photographer, but I appreciate the work it takes to get these shots. Often I’m just happy to get the birds in my binoculars or scope!

Great stuff Tim. Same birds down this way on Plum Island. Loved your video clip of the yellow throat calling and the black and white photo with the insect in mouth. I've never been able to get that green iridescence on the tree swallows to pop like you did. Nice job!! Found a pair of least terns that appeared to be sitting on a nest on a mud mound in the salt pannes and one was fishing, bringing the fish back to the mate. Got the shots but not as sharp as I wanted (fish in the mouth was blurry). Hoping to get back in a few days and try again with my 600mm instead of the 400mm I was using. Your way more advanced than me, but I I share your passion and just love your content.
@timothylabrecque85897 ай бұрын
Just keep getting out there and practicing. Its our job to be ready and able when nature throws opportunities at us! I cant wait for the terns to come back up here. I love grabbing them as they hover

Nice Tim! Top notch as always. Was out earlier in the week on Plum Island. Like you said, good to see so many seasonal friends returning. Like up by you, the yellow rumped warblers and redwing blackbirds have returned. Purple Martins returning to their gourds, and saw a lone barn swallow near their typical nesting area! Killdeers are starting to nest as well! Great time of year!!!

Awesome video and great photos of those shore birds… Also getting down and dirty, wet and sandy, cold and sore is what wildlife photography is all about! It goes with the territory so they say…. I look forward to watching more of your videos, so I subscribed to your channel!

Wow, another Gem Tim!! You are getting great at the editing and integration of the perfect background music!! Loved it. I can't imagine the amount of time and energy you put into making these (setting up the tripod to film yourself, then disassembling, unused footage, and post processing!) The result is greatly appreciated. I gathered you were in the Freeport, ME area, I'm further south in the Great Bay NWR/Plum Island NWR area so appreciate the wildlife and habitat you are capturing!! Keep it up my friend! I love it it. I'm staying away from content creating because I want to keep the experience fun and focused on the wild, not the computer. But you inspire me!!! As you noted, the key is letting the wildlife come to you, patience, knowing the lighting angles, and luck!! 👍😀

So glad you enjoy the videos my friend and really appreciate the support. I try to keep things as streamlined as possible so , like you said, I myself can focus on enjoying the wildlife. I don’t put nearly as much time in as some of these other big name wildlife photographers but I have a ton of fun and if I come away with a few shots and inspire others to get out there then my job is done. I grew up on the northshore so I would love to get some recommendations on where to head out there if you’re willing to share
