I thought I'd be the first. And why not indeed it looked a great walk back then. I hope you're still out about. Love the Black Mountains. Mark

I'm not 100% certain but I think that's what locals refer to as "The Roman Road." My Brother, Girlfriend and I have done the full horseshoe dozens of times, it's beautiful. Cribyn can be a pain but after Corn Du, Pen-y-fan and Cribyn, it's Fan-y-big that takes a toll on your exhausted knees! For the most enjoyable route, start at the Brecon Horseshoe Trail and loop around after about 5 or 6 hours to where you started coming down from Fan-y-big.

One walk we did the day before yesterday was almost 100% empty all day: The Cat's Back and then looping over Black Mountain and back through the valley to the car park. The only people we saw were in the first 15 minutes. It was blissful.

Cracking stuff. I remember you doing the goat track below Cribyn a few years ago. Loved the b-roll at 2:00 I was in Cwm (pronounce it coom or koom) Sere about 10 days ago (small video on my channel) and it's looking glorious with the hawthorn in flower. The plkunge pools in Cwm Oergwm (which I was in earlier in ther week) has better plunge pools I reckon. Lol, I have the same gas burner and container (I have a few smaller ones too) The helipad is also known as Dai's terrace apparently. Very enjoyable watch. Can I ask what you use to film with, really good filming and steady. atb Alan
