The silver paint on my 21' GT's paddles has been flaking off, and they're black underneath. Might be better to remove the silver than to paint them, just an idea. ❤

Well, normally, when installing sites on a handgun or any gun. Do you want to use blue Loctite. Due to the amount of recoil you will have. Also if it’s not pre-set up for a red dot you would want to make sure your record spring is set up or you could have stove pipes another malfunctions. After that, they may concern is leaving the iron sights just in case your battery dies so you can go to iron. So you would want to install the cordless plate with blue Loctite and find out if it needs to be set each screw with inch pounds torque setting. I am currently looking to add this to a PSA dagger. I don’t wanna spend a whole lot on an red dot until I’m sure I like it.

Yeah, it’s direct to their Meshtastic node then Bluetooth to their phone. Although you can get all in one devices that have screen and keyboard.

This is a cool project, but I see people trying to use it for ‘off-grid’ purposes. The issue is that you still need to use your cellphone, which is 100% on-grid. So, what’s the point? Does it only use the phone’s Bluetooth, without needing tower access? Even then, Bluetooth range is only about 100 meters. If you had a ham radio, for instance, you could power it with solar, making it truly off-grid, and use this completely off-grid

Yeah, so it does away with the cell tower. You send a message from your phone via Bluetooth onto the meshtastic “grid” and others pick it up in the same way. Can be direct message to your mate, or broadcast for general comms to all. Meshatastic can go quite far. Have a google of the current world record for meshtastic distance. Not in the same league as HAM, but no license, cheap as to get into, and no dry mouth when you hit the PTT button.

Just want to check something ..I got 2015 Kia Forte Koup 1.6T..that Pierburg 7.02087.05.0 Solenoid ,is it for the waste gate or BOV , I have seen other KZbin videos where some guys replace the solenoid on yhe tubro side..not the intercooler / Throttle body side.

It’s all easy compared to Straya. They’re in the process of changing our laws so we will be limited to 5 firearms…farmers limited to 10. They’re really trying to restrict those of us legitimate shooters because criminals can get hold of firearms. It’s a real shame. But in the UK, no pistols at all!

Does this hot start issue get so bad it won't start the engine cold because I've had the issue for months and now it won't start cold .

Yeah eventually the starter will just stop working. Being a hot start issue is kinda the warning. Mine survived a long time like that. I knew it was time to replace it when it wouldn’t restart after filling up with fuel. Had to wait at least 5 minutes!

So after watching your recent video with the BMW you mentioned the cooper anti seize isn’t necessary so my question is it necessary for the Kia? Also should the engine be ambient temperature?

The copper anti seize is something I have always used when doing plugs but NGK says specifically to NOT use it on their plugs so I decided they know more than me about the subject. Best to do plugs when engine is cold just so you dont have to worry about burning yourself, no need for engine to be up to temp.

They are the M45XL, you can run them in a stock car but there is no benefit and it might make cold starts on the rough side.

Yes, very carbon in love! If you are talking about Penrite gear oil for the DCT, thats what I used when I changed mine, worked great! More BMW content coming soon....

So the orange one has better BT range. But the longer antenna has better LoRa range- is that right? Was a bit hard to tell what you were pointing at.

Yeah the heltec v3 Bluetooth not great at all the t beam much better. T beam is the one knee attached the longer antenna to and then got better lora range too.

Hey @wauroware apologies for the delay, the part number for that stater that came off my bike is..1311112 428000-5543 12v I stripped the bike and sent this number to the supplier in order to get the correct part (upgraded ricks Motorsport electrics). I’d recommend you do that same. Triumph wanted a stupid amount of money and to change many parts to reduce gear ratio or starter. Ricks is direct replacement, way cheaper and worts beautifully.
