Such a beautiful version. Wish the crowd was more respectful of the magic. I know, they paid there money but...

This is fantastic. In answer to why every concert by Bob does isn't perfect, is because he is a true artist, sometimes it works live, sometimes it doesn't. For me and I'm sure other fans of Bob that is more preferable than the sanitised, safe concerts served up by most bands and solo artists and that is not a intended as a criticism. You like what you like. Just for the record, for me Bob is the greatest singer and musician ever. Long live Bobby

In Viet Nam I saw way to much killings 24 hours day and night, bombs, mine fields, the rain, the heat of the jungle, this was over 50 years ago, I am still a mess us kids at age 20 killing in Nam was a f.. nightmare. We came back to our country, who treated us like shit .For those of us who made it back to the USA, we were hated for doing a war job we were forced to do

authentic spiritual mysterious Bob Dylan before 1966...beautiful poetic song!

this era had one of the best backing bands anyone ever had, perfect for what Bob was doing. He loved playing with these guys, you can see why. i've seen him 8 times starting in 1965, with Al Kooper, Robbie Robertson, Harvey Brooks from the Electric Flag, and Levon Helm. Talk about happy, Dylan playing a full electric set in concert for the second time ever, second concert of the first tour with full electric sets, and where i saw him, Hollywood Bowl, there was no booing, audience loved him and he loved them. Next time i saw him in 1974, first tour in 7 years, he was backed by The Band. it was the last concert on the last day of the last tour of Dylan and the Band. Dylan seemed happy at that one too, the music was good. But as good as that was (it's recorded on the Before the Flood album), the best overall experience of musical joy was October 14, 2001, it was right after 911 and the US had started its first new war since it bombed Iraq in 1991. Now they had started one with no exit strategy, those masters of war doing their thing. depressing. Bob did Masters of War, and his musicians did it and and he debuted (for that audience) songs from Love and Theft, and he was the most laid back and happy i ever saw him, coming up to the the edge of the stage, electric guitar strapped on, and it was festival seating, like the Dead used to do, it was a sports stadium, so audience could come out onto the floor of the court and get near the stage, and Bob was conversing with the audience, casually and friendly, listening for responses back from them. When he introduced the band he took a long time doing that, musician by musician, Larry Campbell, Charlie Sexton, Tony.....and they were all having a good time, you can hear it on this video from that era, not a care in the world, lots of joy, high on music. .

I learned to appreciate Dylan because my husband did and I had to listen to it, so I figured, I might as well like it too. Never did hear this one, and it's one of the more awkward, honest, sad songs he ever recorded...it hits me right in the middle and I have no idea why

Always heard Dylan..thought he was...mediocre at best...certainly did not place the mantle of awe and grearness on him as others seemed to..then i saw this odd throw away movie and him doing the childlike song Dixie. Then i got it. He transposed time and place just singing Dixie..it could have been a stage in Alanta in 1862... appreciate ya Bobby

Bad news, bad news came to me where I sleep Turn, turn, turn again Sayin' one of your friends is in trouble deep Turn, turn to the rain and the wind Tell me the trouble, tell me once to my ear Turn, turn, turn again Joliet prison and ninety-nine years Turn, turn to the rain and the wind Oh what's the charge of how this came to be? Turn, turn, turn again Manslaughter in the highest of degrees Turn, turn to the rain and the wind I sat down and wrote the best words I could write Turn, turn, turn again Explaining to the judge I'd be there on Wednesday night Turn, turn to the rain and the wind Without a reply I left by the moon Turn, turn, turn again And was in his chambers by the next afternoon Turn, turn to the rain and the wind Could you tell me the facts, I said without fear Turn, turn, turn again That a friend of mine would get ninety-nine years Turn, turn to the rain and the wind A crash on the highway flew the car to a field Turn, turn, turn again There was four persons killed and he was at the wheel Turn, turn to the rain and the wind But I know him as good as I'm knowin' myself Turn, turn, turn again And he wouldn't harm a life that belonged to someone else Turn, turn to the rain and the wind The judge he spoke out of the side of his mouth Turn, turn, turn again Sayin', "The witness who saw he left no doubt" Turn, turn to the rain and the wind That may be true, he's got a sentence to serve Turn, turn, turn again But ninety-nine years, he just don't deserve Turn, turn to the rain and the wind Too late, too late for his case it is sealed Turn, turn, turn again His sentenced is passed and it cannot be repealed Turn, turn to the rain and the wind But he ain't no criminal and his crime it is none Turn, turn, turn again What happened to him could happen to anyone Turn, turn to the rain and the wind And at that the judge jerked forward and his face it did freeze Turn, turn, turn again Sayin', "Could you kindly leave my office now, please" Turn, turn to the rain and the wind The room was funny and I stood up so slow Turn, turn, turn again With no other choice except for to go Turn, turn to the rain and the wind I walked down the hallway and I heard his door slam Turn, turn, turn again I walked down the courthouse stairs and I did not understand Turn, turn to the rain and the wind And I played my guitar through the night to the day Turn, turn, turn again And the only tune my guitar could play Was, "Oh the cruel rain and the wind"

A popular folk song known as Flora the Lily of the West around North West England in 1960s. Christie Moore was a popular and emerging great performer in those days. Shame about Dylan's misrepresentation of the song.

Love is All It was raining in my heart Falling deep inside of me Drowning into my soul This silence rushes over me I am breath against this fire And I will not turn away, oh no I'm waiting for time to carry me Like a tempest to the sea Standing strong, watching over, yeah Love will keep me believing Through the dark, can you hear me calling? Holding on when I'm dreaming Love is all, love is all, love is all Thundering on high Love was all I knew before I fell And now the shots of man Are buried inside myself I am breath against this fire And I will not turn away, oh no I'm waiting for time to carry me Like a tempest to the sea Standing strong, watching over, yeah Love will keep me believing Through the dark, can you hear me calling? Holding on when I'm dreaming Love is all, love is all, love is all Holding on when I'm dreaming Love is all, love is all Love will keep me believing Through the dark, can you hear me calling? Holding on when I'm dreaming Love is all, love is all, love is all Like a tempest to the sea, I'm standin' Love is all, love is all, love is all Love is all, love is all, love is all Like a tempest to the sea I'm standin', I'm standin' [Incomprehensible] Love, love, love, love is all
