I recommend going to the underworld floor 85 or 96. A Namahage is making a dark realm. They will drop a soul core 100% of the time. Be sure to earthfold back to the shrine to purify then quit mission. They are close to the shrine.

Thanks for this, it was the only soul core left for the trophy. It took about 30 tries but it was an easy, mindless farm.

this makes it easier to farm because I trying to forge a full master swordsman set. XD

I wish there was more firearms' techniques, such as area of effect attack, homing or multiple shots... standing still is hard as it is, but having Rapid Fire get cancelled by any damage is BS IMO

Tip Top found it after few minutes with Help of your Video.

It looks like he (the visitor) killed the mimic at the same time that the session owner incorrectly chose the emote. You can hear the audio cues of the mimic responding to the owners selection of the emote and also you see the host character shake his head resulting from the wrong mimic emote. All this happens at the SAME time that the guest 1-shot the mimic. So as the mimic switches from friendly to Aggro state in-game (causing the spawning of a targetable attacking enemy) the original killable NPC is killed when the game is trying to inject the command to switch. Thus because the command to switch( spawn targetable enemy is present) but the NPC that is switched is already killed (/null) the game glitches and forces that spawn to occurr. Because this even is unintended the game engine doesn’t know how to process the event sequences as is it causes an infinite loop trying to revert back to the last stable state it is programmed to handle.. which is spawn NPC=type[x],level[x],targetable:no. Viola infinite mimic loop

Hi there ... I tried this on 1.09 patch and I think it didn't work anymore .. My luck : 145 Item drop rate: 35.8% Also I used Kodama blessing ( 25% drop rate of materials ) + Kodama Bowl And used Luckbringer Talisman The result is : I get just 1 Glue every 4-5 runs I tried this for more than 1 hour and half Note : if you think I did something wrong please help me >_<

How long did you farm? I did 153 runs so far with 59% itemdrop + 25% hunter blessing + kodama bowl helmet + 219luck + luck amrita gauge. It's driving me nuts... I just need 3 texts for 100% but they just won't drop.
