As a history buff/armchair general, i am always curious to as why my country|(India) state and federal police forces are still using military style structures even today and how the Brits introduce it to the country. It makses sense when it was used as a colonial military force to crush independence movement and rebellion . It was only a few weeks ago I came to learn that it was copied based on the Royal Irish Constabulary and the British Grandermarie Force. So much so in the influence that some Indian State Government even named their Armed Police P{olice forces like a typical army regiment. examples are Manipur Rifles, Tripura State Rifles and the Bihar Military Police(all of them are a state armed police branch), the same can be said for some state police SWAT type units like the Mumbai Police commandos, even though they are not parachute qualified unit, they wore a maroon beret.

Hugely interesting, however it was difficult at times to digest the info and impossible to take notes as the speed of the delivery was far too fast and with some words at the end of the sentences unclear.

Thats how they treated their fellow countrymen who were employed to serve and protect them and were ill prepared for the insurrection that was set on them. Shame on the Irish state!

Very well done and informative video - I am geek for recoonstructions of old buildings, so this was great to watch! I do the same (castles etc) but using 3D software. If you dont mind, i will borrow some of this imformation you have shared here to guide me in reconstructing the castle with a view to craeting a film project reconstructing it in the actual location.

hi...I absolutely love that....great job...Where can I take a look at that model of the castle you had made? I would love to take a look at that from a few different angles to use them for oil painting....Roche castle itself and surrounding are so beautifull , that is my video, I made a few years ago... you inspired me to go there next time with my drone ...thx kzbin.info/www/bejne/hIGsmYWHZ8pmebc

I think these boats may have been burials. I noticed a piece of cloth or something in the first boat . I also noticed that the tarim mummy princess that was buried in a boat has new grange solstice depicted on her chest . Think of the yellow feather as the beam of light .if you look close at the structure above the door it matches her chest. there are also photos where the feather and stuff is removed from her chest. If you look close at the triangular part you will see three steps coming down the left side. Also visible in the door at new grange and on carvings of the Aten in Egypt . Interesting how these mummies have been linked to native Americans and came from siberia and how it links to Akhenaten in Egypt . This puts Irish Atlantic and Pacific sea travel way before anyone else . Making Columbus look like an idiot . Lol . I also noticed she has a beothuk canoe and mocasin in her left eye when viewed at the right angle . Also interesting to see a beothuk is just me :) haha 😂 busted !

The asian boat comparison really drives it home . And so much for st Brendans groundbreaking voyage lol also the male tarim mummy has Akhenaten (the pyramid builder) written all over him with mesopotamian symbology as well .

It's funny because I know the tarim princess is Irish ..beothuk.. mesopotamian..and Egyptian . Finally proved it !I'm your red indian . 🍀 Tell me lies tell me sweet lil lies ....like a pig ! Algonquin language contains Irish words .Akhenaten's descendents created the Irish language . My grandma is a McNeil . Son of the Nile ..lol ...so I know I am physically staring at my grandmother . Amazing . I heard some funny claims about her being native Chinese ? Kind of ridiculous considering lol although I do recognize how it's probably true for red haired or recessive red haired people . she clearly has Mongolian skull shape .

There is an error at 27.22. That house is The Crescent (Thornhills) later owned by Derry Clarke and his brother James. I grew up in the site 'Castle Cosey' that house was demolished early part of the 20th century. My father bought the site and built a new house mid 1970's.

I enjoyed this, so thanks. I only found it through looking for clahs videos after I took an interest in two papers produced by clahs in 1932 and 1933, both entitled "An Ancient Poet's View from Sliabh Fuaid". I did manage to decipher the poem and identify most of the places in the poem which had not already been.
