The reunion show. I was there. The floor felt like it was going to give way and colapse. They squeezed in about 3 times the legal limit and turned more than that away.

I saw them there a number of times. Mid 94-95 I think. Rachel used to wear a slinky red dress and was very thin. By '97 the beer caught up a bit and she started to wear pants and cardigan sweaters. Always full of energy. Mary played the guitar so hard that she had blood splatter all over the pick guard. I remember she would look at her finger between songs. Stroh's beer and two terribly placed columns in the bar. But....great times. Miss that line up.

I shot that footage. The entire set lasted about 15 minutes. It was awesome! The Hookers opened. They played about 12 minutes. Quick & furious evening.

@jimrinn3986 wow, that's me playing guitar on the left. This is crazy to see, this was part of a 3 week midwestern tour and I've never seen any footage from any of the shows. I couldn't even tell you what happened to our drummer at the time, but yes Patrick Keeler from the Greenhornes etc was a friend of ours and filled in on drums for this little mini-tour. If I remember correctly, our bass player was also borrowing Jack Lawrence's (Greeenhornes etc etc) gear. This looks like the last song of the set, I have no recollection of it, and it sounds awful LOL, but it is still great to see. Do you happen to have the rest of the show? I would die to see it. Thanks for posting this!

Is this from the same set as the live album you are putting out?
@jimrinn3986
@jimrinn3986 2 жыл бұрын
Nope, the live album is from 10 years before this and has not been out in any capacity at this point. They played, the soundboard tape was handed to a friend and it sat in a box for 30 years. Record coming in late November/early December.
