Lmao, it is wild seeing it from a tactical perspective. Since Ready Or Not added the incapacitation mechanic into the game, speedrunners have used that tactic to deal with civilians faster than arresting them. You incap body shot them and arrest them on the floor. In this case, I got the arresting bug where the ragdoll bugs out and has to unfold before arresting it, so it wasn't an ideal run for the category but we were going for a completion rather than the fastest time just so there is a run on the leaderboard for Revolver% since it is new.

Yes, I literally didn't do anything lmao. It was the 3 suspect Mid/Upper Spawn RNG. The run isn't optimized either. I usually go with Void straight to the center floor and we roll for all 3 suspects in the center and top to get the fastest time.

The civilians are not being killed. They are all incapacitated. It is an exploit runners have used for years speedrunning this game that doesn't fail the "Rescue All Civilians" objective. For this reason, I asked the moderators on speedrun.com for this game to add a new Gamemode called "Arrest%" in which you have to arrest all civilians and you cannot use this exploit that seems concerning for people who don't understand why civilians are being incapacitated. This is a very new mode that was recently added a couple of weeks ago rather than the usual speedrunning modes that have been there for over 2 years. Yes, SA-58 as the game name. It is the most powerful weapon in the game and is very effective if you are used to its recoil as it is one of the highest chambers in the game.

They should definitely add more melee visuals and binds, I would love to do a melee-only run. Would be amazing!

It is the armor material that matters more than the amount of armor on the runs 👍

@@cosmicembers22 Is using heavy armour not just slowing you down though considering you’re going for speed runs?

@@LingtonTV Steel plates have a 21% speed deduction, Ceramic plates have a 5% speed deduction, and Kevlar has no speed deduction. Heavy Armor has 4 plates and light armor has 2 max I believe. Each plate you add on the "Coverage" option multiplies your speed deduction. So, this means that running Full, Back, and Side plates for Heavy Armor while wearing Steel Material would slow down your speed by around 80%. Maybe the acceleration picks up slightly but overall that is the gist of it. Light Armor with Ceramic plates would be ideal for almost all scenarios unless you want to choose heavy armor with only front and back coverage. Steel if I am not wrong also can reflect shards/bullets which can further damage the player. This may be outdated or just not true but I have heard of it before.

Yes, we incapacitate civilians because it doesn't fail objectives for speedrun.com's rules and yes sometimes I think suspects are back from the dead with that bug.

I play it in both ways but when we speedrun, we incapacitate civis instead of arrest them so it does not fail the objective. I am well aware of how the game should be played. I am in an entire tactical community that plays the game professionally as well as another that speedruns the game for speedrun.com.

Definitely Does! This was my first playthrough of the Sanctum's Deceit Map and it definitely adds to the immersion of playing alone and various maps.

I use an RTX 4070 with a DDR5 AI Cooling Motherboard and DDR5 RAM. Therefore, I can sustain over 200-300FPS while recording. Upgrade when you can because it is always worth it in the long run!

Ceramic Armor Material is an armor type that blocks all damage to the user until it breaks. Definitely consider using it for smaller maps!
