Also my level been going down but recently been going back up I go every 2 weeks so annoying when it goes up I'm still trying to understand what to eat and what not

Very nice video carl, I have hemochromatosis come up did you ever suffer from shortness of breath and weakness, I've been doing phlebotomies now for several months my numbers are slowly going down I'm down to 600 but what I've been noticing is that any amount of exertion and I'm completely exhausted and I feel weak and sometimes I get shortness of breath, did they ever happen to you?

Thank you for your story even my transferrin saturation is high 55% and all other iron status is normal ferritin is 70 but I feel like crap I have a metallic taste in my mouth,brain fog fatigue digestive issues and even a white coating on tongue I think iron overload is my root cause for these issues

My symptoms were strange aches in my joints mainly my knuckles and ankles, fatigue was extreme, I just thought it was the female hormones, & dizzy sometimes thought it was just vertigo. Try & cut down or cut out any vitamin supplements that have, iron, vitamin C & B12.....just my suggestions :)

Hello Kyle! I was diagnosed a little over one week ago. My Feritin level was 609 but all my iron panels & liver panels are within normal limits. Have you ever heard of high feritin combined with normal iron & liver panels???

My level only 800 but they said I have fatty liver can I ask what ur meals are everyday what I should stick too and eat and not eat
@suzannehedderly13312 жыл бұрын
This interesting. I think non-alcoholic fatty liver is related to the hemachromatosis. I have it as did a friend of mine diagnosed with hema (too late for him, he had NA cirrhosis). I saw one article proposing link between the two. Wish there was more data available on that.

I left the airport easily and checked in to a hotel no problem. Didn’t need a visa but proof of vaccination was needed.

Dear Heart. Thanks for sharing. It will all work out. Now, I know to go to a phlebotomist. My Oncologist who was so awesome passed away. I am not to take iron to prevent sepsis.. this new oncologist is insisting I do not know my body and my health dos and dos and don'ts. She say there are no blood levels it iron levels. Thank God, after insurance my copay is 1000.00. I will not be going for iron injections. I have Sarcoidosis and Active Sickle Cell Trait. which she says sickle cell trait does not become active.. Thanks for the idea of going to a phlebotomist. God Bless You. One Love ❤

I was diagnosed about 7 months ago. Not nearly so high as you! My goal number is between 50-75. I have ONE more scheduled "blood letting" and then lab work and hopefully I've reached my goal! Then it's figuring out what "maintenance" looks like for me. I'm homozygous C282Y. Thank you for the videos! Best wishes!

Your 🙄dr doesn’t order labs to test for Deficiencies unless you ask!!!!!!!! Years freaking years of high levels of iron. I’m 😠 because I was completely depleted of vitamin D AND HIGH IRON. WTH!!!!!!! Shoulder injury wasn’t healing after A year and a half well when you’re in a lot of pain and you don’t have any vitamin D or you’re deficient and other areas and iron overload and they act like it’s your fault. Doctors are a joke amen
