Interesting the light came on and felt like the break was applied. There was plenty of room between the car in front. Also sometimes it gives a totally false side and front warnings. I dunno if it just this Volvo or if this is a normal quirk.

Yes, this was very helpful. BUT, there is one adjustment that was not designed into the car, which I find to be aggravating. You cannot adjust the display to the right ----- when you use the heads-up display, you will find that the display shows to the left of the center-line of vision over the steering wheel when looking at the center of the lane you are driving in. So, when driving and you want to view the heads-up display, your eyes have to move down (as expected) AND to the left, which is the annoying part. No adjustment for this. I would have picked this up immediately during the prototype design process, but for some reason Volvo did not address this quirk. 😐

Hi Alton, I also have the 2024 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy for a couple of weeks now and I've started using the digital rearview mirror the last few days. Its is great like the way you are showing it but today was the first time I drove the palisade at night. My rearview mirror display was blurry, OK I thought it was because hurricane debby just passed by NYC couple of days ago and the rear camera is dirty. When I stop by to get gas, I cleaned the rear camera. When I started driving again, the the rearview mirror was still blurry and cleaning the rear camera didn't improve the view. In my observation, the more cars I have behind me, the more blurrier it gets specially when someone is tailgating me. The headlight hitting the rear camera is washing out the video picture you get in the digital rearview mirror. I googled this and saw that its not only the palisade having this issue and that's how I landed in your channel. My conclusion is use the Digital rearview mirror in the daytime and switch back to the conventional rearview mirror at night.

Just a horrible company. They will raise your rate every 3 to 6 months and usually like $75 increase which is bullshit. The gate failed multiple times and people got locked in and couldn't get out for hours and yet they didn't even give a discount on rent. I also had things stolen and they didn't review the camera footage. Do not rent at public storage, go to any other storage place and you'll be better off.
