I believe Ward clearly shot the dog. He scoped in on it, and we heard the gunshot as he pulled the lever to eject the cargo module. He needed some distance to kill an entity he’d bonded with, rather than being able to do it up close and direct. Hence giving the dog a chance to run before taking his shot, and putting Fitz and Simmons in a near-inescapable deadly situation instead of personally shooting them.

Nick Fury in Avengers age of Ultron was a skrull because in Captain Marvel movie Fury said he do not eat toast cut diagonally and he does while trying to rally The Avengers talking about them all being back on Earth.

Podcast episode is cool & all, but it’s so frustrating that Jamie tried to tell Clark that AoS was main timeline minus the last two seasons when the “snap didn’t happen.” We can’t let fans that don’t understand this potentially confuse even the actors. THE SNAP DID HAPPEN. THEY JUST DIDN’T TALK ABOUT IT. It’s a whole year later in season 6. They don’t need to mention the damn snap when they’ve got other pressing things going on (rebuilding shield, searching for Fitz, etc.) A mention would’ve been nice? Sure. But it’s not needed, especially when none of them were as affected by the snap on a personal level like the avengers. Some people mentioned 9/11 in their daily lives a year later. Okay? Some didn’t. Some people just got on with what they felt they needed to. Same concept here. “The team wasn’t snapped.” Neither were the six original avengers. Random chance. Irrelevant. “The world wasn’t dark and bleak like Endgame” Neither was it as such in Endgame entirely (Tony’s lake house, the diner, Avengers base, Far From Home clearly showing kids were attending school normally, etc.) Some people move on. Not Cap, not Natasha, but a lot of the world moved on. “The Triskelion was destroyed.” No it wasn’t. The final shot of it in the background of the Winter Soldier shows it standing tall, albeit damaged heavily. It was evidenced as being cleaned up and rebuilt in a Spider-Man Homecoming deleted scene, and in the main timeline of the finale, was shown, fully rebuilt in the year 2020. The showrunners, Jed Whedon & Maurissa Tancharoen, despite their behind the scenes struggles, made every effort to make it clear that they were traveling back to the main timeline (2019 S6 finale) in the series finale. If they would’ve been in an alternate one after S5A, they would’ve also made that clear, and it would’ve made zero sense (not getting into all of that nonsense). But yeah,…not the case. It’s very clearly like this,… Long version: First four seasons play out. Agents travel to alternate future in first half of season 5. Second half of season 5 is main timeline after they travel back. Season 6 is main timeline. First four episodes of season 7 is main timeline. Sousa was always pulled out of time, thus, no branch from that. End of season 7 episode 4, the Chronicoms cause a branch by working with Malick. This branch is most of the rest of season 7. The finale, they travel back to the main timeline again where season 6’s finale took place and they explicitly state it’s the original timeline, not a branch. Season ends in the year 2020, main timeline, during the blip era, 2 years in, where again, some people, have just moved on. Abridged Version: S1-S4: Main Timeline S5A: To An Alternate Future S5B -S7E1-4: Back To Main Timeline S7E5-12: To A New Branch S7E13: Back To Main Timeline People really need to start understanding this. This episode blew the whole thing up in a massive way. The Ward turn was jaw-dropping and heart breaking, but Brett absolutely nailed it, but DAMN! Yeah, this was the turning point for the show. I was a fan since it first aired, and now me eldest kiddo is hooked too...although he's already watched the entire run a few times over! AoS is sorely missed. The chemistry in that group was outstanding and really elevated it to something special.

I miss Agents of Shield so much! Quality tv, great show, great fun…… Not many left on screen!

Love this podcast. Catching up now so I can watch in real time with y'all. In my interpretation I think the name Steve Rogers would be well known to Americans or those in Western countries but I would think Captain America would be the more prevalent name known to those outside the US or Western countries. But I can't think of another character she could've name dropped. Even Tony Stark is known to be Iron Man. Others have pseudonyms... I can't think of anyone else Raina could have named dropped. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I really wanted to watch this when it was first announced, but my job/work schedule at the time didn't allow for anything remotely live. I didn't get back to it until housesitting for a friend in 2018 when I was able to binge it on their streaming service. To this day, it has become my favorite television show, regardless of genre. The screenwriting across the board was so far beyond expectation. I look forward to following you all along this journey. Perhaps one of the biggest things to try and remember is simply keeping tabs of where the MCU itself was upon the airing release. That will be very relevant through the first three seasons before the program largely goes its own direction.

I would love if you get to season 7 and Tony is still talking about his girl Akela 😂
