From my experience with a very dangerous hail yesterday, IF the storm is as dangerous as it's shown in the song then THERE'S NO WAY they would be able to hear one another I was screaming "cover your heads" and I couldn't even hear my own voice. Don't worry, everyone is perfectly fine
