Oh, that would make sense, I've had a few other occasions in upcoming episodes where the innate traits have provided additional options in some encounters. Unfortunately, I've yet to encounter that wolf pup a second time though...

Greetings to boring dog! I can't wait to see Wolf Pack leveled up and getting some synergy into the team. Despite Hemlocke and I being a bit upset with Darkmoone at the moment, I'm sure we can channel that towards the enemies. Also, congratulations to Seea for making high mage!

I have to say, the fact that these later battles are just ... filled with lots of more enemies is a bit sad. It clearly ups the difficulty a LOT but it also drags out the fights :( It's still fun to watch you, though!

Haha, don't worry too much, we'll eventually unlock a bunch of aoe skills and spells that can pretty much nuke half a dozen mobs at once!

I am only using Archers and Tanks... So far, so good. I have amassed 53k gold over 79 days, with only 6 Tanks, 6 Archers. All the Tanks are males, the Archers females. Turned 4/6 into Rangers, and 2/6 into Guardians.

Interesting... I'm now finding (circa day 130) that my archer damage has fallen of a cliff due to most enemies having high physical resistance and archers not having a great way to get around that. Tanks meanwhile not putting out great damage either, so interested to hear how that scales late-game. Meanwhile, my assassins are going hog-wild, it's glorious lol

@@boringdadgaming That elite fight was harder than the target quest. It seemed like you could have gone for more loot though, and then run awa.. er gone back if any enemies immediately threatened since you'd completed the quest at that point. Not that there would be any greed involved. 🙂

I'll have a think about it, although at the stage I am now I've configured the groups a bit differently as we can now have 6 party members. I will admit the idea of sad Rowan trying to inspire people through his music is quite amusing though XD

Ha, I'm hoping that it gets easier to acquire the supplies and stuff, I wasn't entirely sure but I think maybe once you've bought something you get to effectively keep it as an asset for the rest of the campaign, with things refreshing each week to be available to use again?

Really? I thought you did as well or better than the other party members. That random number generator needs some serious investigation by the game devs. It seems to get "stuck" on occasion producing a set of like 3 unlikely results in a set as in this adventure. Either that or they're not properly reporting the hit probability. So keep up the good work! 🙂

Thank you, St. Seattle. The RNG does seem a bit harsh at times. Though I have to say I never loved statistics, I think I would prefer the game to slant the rolls towards the percentage.

Anybody have any favourite characters? Personally I love Florablits - that badass Kung-Fu chick packs a serious punch 👊!

This seems like it'll be an absolutely devastating game 😢 I love the setting though. Really adds to the sense of loss and grief and whatnot. Just this small cottage on the border of a massive dark forest. To me it adds to the general heaviness and sense of insignificance that accompanies a serious loss. Just this looming *thing* that's always there. It's beautiful in a sad way.
