There is no doubt there is something spiritual occurring at this beautiful house, I appreciate how the historians noted this was a very normal movement for her time, something that is almost always overlooked in other documentaries.

Absolutely amazing! To have a house in one family for 12 generations is such an incredible accomplishment in the U.S. sadly many families don’t hold onto the properties (I understand for so many reasons) , it’s still a shame). I love this. This is a dream my husband and I have. To save and restore incredible historic properties to save our history is a passion for us. We always are sad when we see them lost. Thank you for saving these places! Where are you located? We live 30 minutes from Billerica in NH.

Great basement!

I lived on the MacMurray ranch as a baby/toddler. My Grandma and Grandpa, Laverne & Hobart Hunter lived in a small house on the ranch and my Grandpa was the ranch manager. I was told that Fred's twins held us as babies, as I have a twin brother, and on the same day we were born there were twin cattle born that really stole the show. The photo of two men on horses looks like the one in my Grandma's photo album. One of those men may be my Grandpa. Such a nice story here. Fred MacMurray was a much admired man and very humble and generous.

I would love to see a tour of this entire home! I was really hoping to see the living room and the primary bedroom and bathroom. I live in Northwestern Arizona, so I gravitate towards homes in the desert. This home is really beautifully done, and I really appreciate hearing the reasons behind the choices that were made. And the terrazzo is 👩‍🍳 💋! 👏👏

This bathroom is absolutely perfect, and I wouldn’t change a thing if it was being designed for me! Our bathroom in the house we owned before retiring would’ve been perfect renovated just like this. I kept telling my husband what my idea was for it, but I never could find a picture exactly like this. Thanks for sharing!

This is truly amazing! What a gift this man has to be able to live on this property. I think it’s amazing, too, that none of the wood has been painted. It seems like so many people want to paint over all the stained wood in a house. My husband and I love stained wood trim, windows and doors. We had that in Pennsylvania, but our retirement home in Arizona is all white, painted wood. Not really my style, but I’m grateful for it. Thank you so much for sharing this treasure with us!
