Any issues with your boat at all? I bought the same boat except i got it with the 50 Merc. I added the Terrova, helix 10, and on board charger. Would love to hear your thoughts about it, does the storage keep your gear dry? How is the decking holding up? I cant wait for mine!

I have the Ken Onion model. They address the proper way to sharpen without damaging or changing angles and grinds. Check out their videos/instructions. I have sharpened a ton of stuff with mine and love it!

I have found that you need an odd clamping angle to get the curved tip section of a knife done without trashing the tip & curve, & then reclamp & blend in the straight section of the edge.

How does it perform with the 25 Merc? Plain out pretty quick? Top speed? I have a 1400 fury tiller with a 25 yamaha. If I upgrade boat Id like to keep the same motor and put on Angler.

60” is almost a bit too long. I would have gone 54” if it had the options I wanted. Definitely recommend 80# 24v. Just be smart about batter #2. Real easy way to eat up storage.

I’m looking at this boat. Are you happy with motor size? Will it pull a tube for the kids ?

Probably not pull a tub. In the first clip of us moving, we had a head wind of about 10mph and a lot of chop on the water. We could barley get up to 14mph, but if I go by myself on glass clam water, it can do about 22-24mph. I plan on doing an in depth video on the performance of the Lund 1650 Angler with a 25hp Mercury and a SS prop. I plan to include info. with and without excess weight. When I was looking at getting this boat, there where no videos of a boat this size that was equipped with a smaller motor.

I used these with the Team Catfish weight slides to make a kzbin.infoUgkxdmsDj7fQXe77DC0l7P7ua8B3PiESUubM Carolina rig and they were perfect for the ponds I fish. I have also used them to make 3 way rigs and these work perfectly. Haven't had any issues with them snagging in rocks or in weeds yet.
