I'll never forget seeing Tony Rice with the David Grisman quintet at the Great American Music Hall in 1975. He was the man. Those were the good days.

Incredible.....people forget that Rice was a FANTASTIC jazz guitarist too! I bet that was Stephan Grapellie on violin. Not sure when this was recorded but it sounds fresh as a daisy.

Our two best flatpickers. Tony has been gone for several years. Norman is back living in the Carolinas, is mainly retired; but, will play occasionally if not too far away.
