Valor's reported troop capacity is 14 + 4 crew. The Osprey had the same connected driveshaft powering both engines. The Valor can fit in 3 sides of any box you can make around the H60 and in total only has a 19% larger footprint.

Yup. I know you know this, but I'm putting this for others. The interconnected engine/transmission systems in the V-22 were a stipulated requirement as a safety feature. One engine can drive both rotor systems in case of an engine loss, but only to a hoped for safe landing Same reason it's in the Valor. I'm guessing all tilt rotors going forward will have this as a requiement.

@JustaPilot1 fun fact is the Chinook uses a similar system. Both rotors are interconnected as well.

Personally, I don't think that the F15 Eagle will ever be surpassed in history of aviation. The F15 is not only aesthetically beautiful, but an unbeatable killer in the air, ground and even naval~
