ahhh yes my first ever mario game...this hits close to home, running up to my sisters room after school, loading this up, then playing the same damn levels over and over again and not actually progressing with the game...oh it was a truly wonderful time...me and my sister would always say we were sick of this music because of how much it would play but yknow, looking at it now i have no idea how we were...its a part of our fond memories. 🥲

I'm surprised people haven't noted the wonderful use of extended technique for the piano in this OST. I think they are bowing the strings of the piano directly which produces the very distinct, metal-like melodic line accompaniment. Also, at 0:07 you can hear the piano strings being strummed.

i like to think Age of Calamity is canon. Really thinking about this makes me feel the hopelessness each theme has. It makes me ache. it conflicts with me somehow, like, was there really no other way? if only Zelda and Link just had a little more time to get to one of the divine beasts..or mipha finished her sentence before being cut off by Ganon's revival..the scenarios continue to boggle my mind. The fact they even used those signals..did they know they weren't going to get help? I see how Daruk and urbosa could have been trapped. but what was stopping Revali? leave out pride for a second, what was really stopping him from flying away? Maybe Wind Blight would chase him? but I cant really see that. was his wing hurt?? i also doubt.. I can see how Mipha was trapped..however, I wish there was another way, cmon. water Blight could have blocked her way out with ice..and that's terrifying..but what about those windows in the terminal area? can she even reach that? I'm sure she can, look at what she does in age of calamity, that- typhoon ability. Water Blight doesnt seem pretty smart to block that part of the divine beast..i see a pretty good chance of her escaping. would she have some wounds? duh. Or maybe zelda and link could get to them? how tho..and what was the nearest divine beast to them? looking at the map i really think they could have gone to mipha if they link and zelda were starting at the middle of the map. but what do yall think? did i yap too much?

I lost my copy of mario galaxy for my wii and I've been looking for it everywhere at home. This song made it worse but in a good way, now i have to either buy it or look for it harder
