Ace Combat has a lot of people around me say I'm the ace so many times it got boring to me. Project Wingman made me feel that I AM the ace. Mission 11 is better than anything equivalent Ace Combat had ever offered, so was Frontline 59's Mission 4.

To this day I'm still disappointed that this game ended on a sequel beg despite how fantastic and awesome the story is and that we could have had a third game if it wasn't for Apex legends. I would have definitely played the hell out of this when it originally came out and I would have been even more mad if after beating the story and finding out that there was no sequel because of another thing it would have been heartbreaking. Even now after finding out that there would have been another game but there isn't I still feel like that we should have had another game after 2.

It's crazy lol I remember my dad playing this game for most of my childhood

I also bought this game early on and watched things happen like the beta features being turned into dlc, the patch note posting, and the review sentiment shifts that followed. One thing i think this video couldve spared maybe an extra minute or two to discuss, and the reason he ultimately was banned i think, was because he started reporting *every* negative review as fraudulent, and when these reviews were not removed he would reply to these reviews very aggressively. This directly violates steams tos, and by this point hed already had warnings, temporary bans, and more warnings. Soundtrack was killer to listen to as well

gundam vs zeta gundam is more better than the latest gundam battle operation if you want to play uc lore this is the best game and i wish all gbo ms (from the gundam msv and side stories) should be on this game

1. The art style It was very smart move by the developers - cartoonish graphics don't age like "realistic" ones. The game looks just as good as it did when it was released. Plus animation - probably the best in all ARPGS to this day. The way the characters move feels like they have a mass, they don't look like plastic toys like in most ARPGS. 2. Combat Even basic attacks feel satisfying, there is always something somewhere blowing up, your character isn't always swinging it's weapon the same way. There could be a little bit more monsters on the maps, but that's nit-picking 3. Skills Well balanced in comparison to other ARPGS. Not too simple and not overcomplex, a sweet spot for casual gamers. About the respecing (is that a word?) You can respec your last 3 skill points, which means you can try a skill and if you don't like it, remove it for a little small gold price. I think it's brilliant. 4. Attributes I can still remember playing Diablo 1 for the first time when I was like 17 then Diablo 2 and my frist MMO MuOnline in all of those games I could spend attribute points as I wanted and it was awesome. I can remember even better my huge disappointment when I level up for the first time in WoW and I couldn't spend attribute points myself. 5. Summary Torchlight 2 is one of the best ARPGS ever (do not confuse it with the most popular) and for the price it is sold nowadays on Steam or GOG it has the best fun:price ratio of all ARPGS. Period. And don't tell me PoE has better ratio because it's F2P. It's called F2P but the reality is it's only F2G (G stands for Grind) and when you count all the microtransactions you made while playing PoE then you will realize that my statement is true.

Lord of the rings Battle for middle Earth 2 was my favorite lord of the rings game.

If Namco Bandai decide to localise this even today, they'll make a lot of money.

After 20 years my cousin asked to borrow my Two Towers game. i was confused why, but appreciated that they seemed to enjoy the game as much as I did. I never got my game back, and they denied ever borrowing it... :(

Ace Combat 4 OST. Nice.

I put 100s of hours in this game as a kid. Eowyn was BROKEN in it, and I had some gear or skill that scaled infinitely; I don't remember what exactly (her double strike seemed excessively strong, IIRC), but any of the enemies you're supposed to avoid at all costs - such as the Ring Wraiths when the Eye is maxed - I could just stat-check. Really enjoyed the essentially infinite new-game+. Wish I'd had a spare copy to co-op with.

The narnia game was really fun too

One of my favorite things about AC04 is the radio chatter. It's much more grounded than other games in the series. I know most people prefer the more dramatic, sometimes overacted/anime-style dialogue of AC5 and onward, but my preference is strongly for the more restrained voice acting of 04. When the dialogue of 04 actually does get dramatic, it hits much harder because it stands in sharper contrast to the other more mundane dialogue.

Maybe it's just nostalgia, but I find Earth Federation vs Zeon the best on the PS2. I have been trying to enjoy Zeonic Front but it is just a little to janky and frustrating compared to the more action based games like this. Zeonic Front sounds amazing on paper, getting to enjoy the war in Zeon mobile suits of your choice in very ground based, 08th MS team style tactical combat. But setting up routes and stuff is pretty lame. It's like the SOCOM games but it's more restrictive and overthought.

WTF? those two are pure clusterfuck right out of hell, the only ps2 lotr game that was worth it was the one where you basically start right behind the original group in a turnbased rpg. Enjoyed both campaigns for Titanfall 2 and Call of Duty Infinite Warfare back in 2016. Shame neither got sequels back then. Now Titanfall is dead and Call of Duty might as well be with all the Fortnite crap in it now.

Bought this game on a whim, and it was fantastic.

this is one of the best game of gameboy advance.

Just put the anime OST on the game and it's perfection, i put the ost on 23rd tournament and it fits well.

I'll be honest I kinda like how clunky the controls are. It feels far more like I'm a Regular Guy piloting a huge walking tank to me, and the enemies being unhittable at times fits into that as well; a regular human will rely alot more on their targeting computer than any of the new type pilots!
